Last time I looked those folks are no friend of working-class Americans. Even middle-class Americans for that matter. Plus, automation has had a bigger impact on the American manufacturing than sending jobs overseas. In saying that, there has been a trend over the past couple of years - here in Australia - where a lot of companies are bringing some of their manufacturing back here. Too many quality assurance issues overseas.

Nonsense, the first case in China was Nov. 17th. It was only known to be a viral pneumonia at the time. Other cases began appearing but it was believe to come from a local fish market. It was not until mid December that it was recognized as a novel coronavirus and was reported in scientific journals on Dec 17. The US knew there was a new virus outbreak in China before the end of 2019.

Trump calling the virus the Chinese virus is just Trump's childish way of trying shift blame away from his administration for lack of a plan and resources to rapidly deal with the virus.
