Why Do Trump Supporters Have Such A Hard Time Admitting He's A Convicted Felon?

Who illegally sent money to the Trump campaign?
You don’t have to send money to the campaign to make an illegal campaign contribution. All you have to do is spend money on their behalf for campaign activities.

An NDA isn't a campaign activity.

The jury wasn’t.

I guess technically you’re admitting he committed dozens of misdemeanors.

But since he was concealing Cohen’s crime, that made it a felony.
Claiming that he committed dozens of misdemeanors is like claiming someone committed dozens of jaywalking crimes crossing the street on one occasion.

If the campaign paid it with campaign funds, you might have a point.
You seem to think that if it’s not paid for with campaign funds, it can be a donation.

That’s a misunderstanding of how the law works and would be a huge loophole to make limits on donations meaningless.

Well, you can admit it’s a crime so that’s progress.

How is it a donation?

Did Bragg say that Trump had been convicted of breaking FEC law?
the FEC did not absolve Trump of the crime of campaign finance violation (in kind contribution). This means the falsification of business records is elevated to felony because it was done to further that campaign finance crime.
