The boats being destroyed fit a criteria with minimal loss or risk to the US. They are all in open water, all passengers are fully accounted for, and there is no risk of collateral damage. That the cartels are moving back to boats at all is a testament to Trump's land border security.

It is very likely a boat would get a pass if even one unknown person were on board. Nor will they strike in another country's territorial waters, or make strikes on land targets. This is all just the beginning if we are serious about decimating supply.

Um, it takes a completely different boat to run drugs than to fish, dumbass. Fishing vessels require fishing equipment, nets, poles, etc. Also a place to keep the fish until they return to shore, which is a refrigerated area. A drug smuggling boat needs to be nothing mroe than basically a large bathtub with a couple of thousand horsepower on the back.

And some of the families of the dead that were interviewed by reporters, indicate that they were very very poor men that were down on their luck and desperate...they were paid around $500 or more, for the trip....now that's pretty desperate where $500 is worth the chance of even 1 in 10 or 1 in 100 of being blown up!
