Why do some Americans believe they single handedly won WW2?

They invaded Poland with the Germans and agreed to split Eastern Europe between them. The Germans couldn’t have invaded Western Europe without Soviet food, steel, coal, oil and other supplies. During Barbarossa, the German Heer units passed Soviet trains headed west into Germany loaded with supplies to feed the German war machine. So yes, Germany and the USSR were allies until Germany turned on the Soviets,
The Germans signed a non aggression pact with the Soviets, on the first of September 1939 the Germans invaded Poland a week after the pact with the Soviets had been signed, if the Soviets had done nothing and not gone into Poland over two million Nazi troops would have been right on the Western border of the Soviet Union sooner than they were and it may have been too late to stop them, next you clowns will be telling us the guards at Auschwitz were Russian.

Facts do matter, and the fact is the Soviets signed a non aggression pact with the Germans in 1939
By this point, almost all European countries had signed similar non-aggression pacts with Germany. Poland was the first to do so in 1934. But for some reason, everyone remembers the USSR...

Because the USSR had been and was actively supporting the German war machine with everything from training and training areas to raw materials. No other country was before the invasion of Poland.

They also forget a short time before the Poles had taken a pat of Czechoslovakia before Hitler did, they like being selective with their history.

Facts do matter, and the fact is the Soviets signed a non aggression pact with the Germans in 1939 after the West failed to sign a anti Nazi pact with the Soviets, that isn't being a ally, you could say the Brits were allies after Chamberlain came back from Munich in 1938 after signing a deal with Hitler that sold Czechoslovakia down the river that was not worth the toilet paper it was written on.
The Germans took western Poland, the Soviets the eastern side. That's a fact. That's two ALLIES, carving up a nation.

You can dodge all you want, but you're wrong.

Of course, it's simply not true. All European (and not only European) countries have been trading with Germany. It was responsibility of England and France to prevent the ressurection of Germany's military machine and they failed it. Highly likely because they did see Germany as a ram against Soviet Russia.

The Germans took western Poland, the Soviets the eastern side.
It's plain lie. The Soviets didn't take "eastern Poland". The Soviets liberated "Western Ukraine and Western Belarus".

That's a fact. That's two ALLIES, carving up a nation.
First, this "nation" was already dead at the moment of September 17, 1939 (say nothing that that geographical nonsense should not exist at all). We just saved what was possible to save. Second, Poland in 1938 commited an act of aggression against Soviet ally - Czechoslovakia, and, therefore, cancelled Soviet-Polish non-aggresion pact.
So, it was an act of collective self-defense.

That's what i said, the Soviets secured their Western border before the Nazis crossed it.

they invaded a sovereign country, Poland.
To prevent the Germans from taking all of Poland up to their border, i told you all this but you seem to be stuck in some alternative History, operation Barbarossa was launched not all that long after so if the Germans had two million plus troops in Eastern Poland you can imagine the result.

No, it was pre-arranged, the Soviets signed the agreement and Germany let them have that part of Poland retard.
Why didn't the west sign a agreement with the Soviets against the Nazis as they asked for? because they were hoping Hitler would attack the Soviet Union before Europe.

Because no one trusted Stalin.

Because the war was going badly for Europe until the USA got involved. Had we not entered the war, Germany might have won or at the very least, the war would have taken much longer.

More relevantly for the UK, the USA was vital in our ability to manufacture enough radar systems for the UK to protect itself. This allowed the UK to fool the Germans into thinking England was attacking from the north so you could hit them from the south with much weakened reserves.
