Zone1 Why do so many atheists seem to want to attack religion?

They don't attack anyone.

If you stop provoking them and trying to convert them and their children they'll just ignore you. So, the question is what are you really fighting for? That's a rhetorical question because the answer is clear: You know that the Bible is a fear-mongering bed-time story and your battle is between you and your conscience. Atheists don't care what you believe. It is you who is frustrated over the fact that Atheists and Agnostics disagree with you and they enjoy more of life. They also don't murder as many people as Theists do. :nono:
Huh? Atheist regimes murdered 100 million in the last century. More than all religions combined in history

All we can do though is observe the effects of the work of gravity as well as that of God.
Gravity can be measured.
True.
Gawd cannot.
It isn't even discernable. "Gravity" is the English translaton of a word that enjoys international recognition ..... as a word itself. Anyway, it is merely a label used to identify a fact of proven science. "Gawd" is (so far) nothing but a fantasy ..... or a theory if you prefer to call it that. Therefore, it cannot be measured. How much is a henway?

I have made no assumption.
You said "If you stop provoking..."

Who do you think I'm provoking, and why? Assumption...

You said "trying to convert them and their children..."

Convert them to what? A religion I don’t have? Assumption...

You said "So, the question is what are you really fighting for? That's a rhetorical question because the answer is clear:"

You already know what I’m fighting for, and that's not an assumption? Assumption...

You said "You know that the Bible is a fear-mongering bed-time story and your battle is between you and your conscience."

That’s not my battle. Another assumption...

Your entire post is built on assumptions, and your failure to recognize that shows either dishonesty or a serious disconnect with reality. Oh, and you completely avoided most of my post as well, so I'll reiterate...

You've mischaracterized reality. Sure, some religious people are pushy, but to pretend that all the hostility and pushiness only flows in one direction is claiming an undeserved victim status, and I’m not buying it.

Also, if you were truly passive, you wouldn’t be tossing out lines like “atheists enjoy more of life” or “theists murder more.” That’s not neutrality. That’s bias pretending not to be.

So what proportion of those online atheists seem to want to attack religion ?

And how on earth does one find many online atheists?

I'm detecting a distinctly bovine odour.
I already diffused your argument by conceding that I don't know, and perhaps overestimated the number. I've just seen a lot of them online, and those are the types I'm speaking to. I don't care how many it is. I've seen it, and I'm speaking to it.

If you're not that type, then maybe it doesn't apply to you. 🤔

It’s nonsense to say Christians only help other Christians.
Your English comprehension sucks.

Are you going to name an atheist counterpart to a canonized Saint or not?
Clear up the part where you talk about "Christians only helping Christians" first. One thing at a time. You're already in debt and as your groundwork is very soggy it would be unwise of you to try punching above your weight. READ - THINK - FORMULATE your response - and then REPLY. Of course, I know you won't be taking my advice. You're going to run and hide again ... right? :50:

Don't thank me. It is my assumption that you are comforatable with your decision. That's a good thing, isn't it?

I have made no assumption. I don't know if you are speaking on your own behalf, on what you think my behalf might be, or anyone else's behalf. It's all good.

I have two different-colored socks on this morning. Do you have any comments about that?

Did Christ have faith in people? If so, maybe that's why he was willing to die for them.
Nah. The narrative is pretty explicit.

You've completely ignored my points for two posts in a row. I pointed out the blatant falsehood of your claim that you made no assumptions, and also the fake victimhood you carry, but instead of engaging you collapse the conversation into some nonsense about your socks. Clearly you don't want to have a conversation.

15th post
Most definitely. It's called "tit for tat" You introduced it, I gave it back to you. How do you like them apples? :stir:
You're just dishonest. That's fine though.

Golly! How awful! :omg:
And they did it with gawd botherers.
This is a fact. Well, more than a fact, really. Never mind your Wikipedia and CNN news room with their free-range morals . This stuff is in the Holy Bible for God's sake ..... I mean, you know sanctioned by the Lord, our God Himself. 😇
