Not being able to quit on an at-will basis and collect unemployment compensation in an at-will employment State is an abridgment. Employment is at-will not for (good) Cause.
The at will employment laws are for both employer and employee to be able to end the relationship at any time and for any (or no) reason.
It does not apply to the unemployment compensation laws.
Oh, and if you win your court case (and I think that is impossible), and suddenly unemployment compensation will have to be paid to every person who has no job, the state will have to force every person to be paid from the unemployment insurance of their last employer. So either the amount of unemployment compensation will be ridiculously low, or tens of thousands of businesses will go bankrupt.
