Unequal protection of the laws does no such thing. It abridges the privileges and immunities of the citizens in the several States who Labor and are the least wealthy in our republic. There are no for-cause criteria in at-will employment States for public policy purposes since they are repugnant to the equal protection clause and impair in the obligation of contracts.
