New York AG got a $2 mil payment and shut down the foundation.

Well back to Trump. NY also go its hands on a set of tax documents and are suing Trump and his business for about 250 million for fraud. Yeah it is no wonder that Trump hid his taxes for so long.

Then there is the issue of removing what is arguably government records to his personal residence. which is a clear violation of the President Records Act. Yeah I can see why he wanted to keep those records because of all the legal issues Trump had to battle while in the white house.

Then there is the Capitol riots. Trump told them to be peaceful but spent the next 59 minutes pouring gas on the fire. As if they really needed to be incited, because quite a few left before he finished.

Not one House Democrat voted to investigate the possible weaponization of the federal government. What's wrong with a fact finding investigation? If nothing is found then nothing is found. But, if the federal government has been weaponized for political purposes, don't Americans deserve to know? Don't those on the left believe that the House should use it's oversight powers? Don't those on the left believe in keeping our democracy and not taking it away through the weaponization of the DOJ, the FBI, and the CIA? Don't those on the left believe that no one should be above the law, not even those in the federal government? Shouldn't those abusing their power for political gain be held accountable?

Because reasonable people see there was cause for investigating Trump. There was an attack on our Capitol immediately following a speech by Trump. Not to mention evidence of planning for such an event. As well as Trump literally asking states to "find votes". You are an unreasonable person, possibly mentally ill. So of course you dont understand why things always seemingly go against trump supporters. Have you ever stopped to consider that Trump might actually be a bad person? What would be so wrong in admitting that?

How are the career employees in the FBI using these investigations into Trump for political gain? What exactly are they gaining?

And, Eric Holder did not have to comply with Congressional subpoenas. But, if anyone on the right does that? Throw them in jail.

Holder did comply with most all of the GOP requests and subpenies. The items he refused on were taken to court and the matter was finally resolved, as it should be.

What I have is Democrats refusing to vote for an investigation to find out if the government has been weaponized or not. If the investigation proves the government hasn't been weaponized, that is to your advantage. So, why not?

By the way, the strongest evidence of political motivation in the DoJ comes from Trump’s USA in SDNY being told to prosecute Dems before the election.
