Up to 25% of the cattle working industry at its height were black men.

given the percentages, that is an extremely high number.

Is it because "cowboy culture" is too white?

Not Marxist enought?

:dunno:

There are many American culture Black people. It's the media that stereotypes Black people. Then when we see an American Black person the usual leftist propaganda parrots around here call them "sellouts", "Oreos", "Uncle Tom", etc. Racist vermin.

Where did you get the idea that black people don't like cowboy culture.

Congresswoman Wilson from Florida shows her respect.

When Oklahoma was opened up for settlement, many Blacks moved there.
Actually, there were already a lot of black people in Oklahoma when the white settlers started to migrate there.
The Indians owned black slaves to work their farmland and tend to their cattle herds.
During the Civil War the Indians in Oklahoma territory fought for the Confederate's against the Union army.
The last Confederate general to surrender was an Indian in Oklahoma.
Because Oklahoma wasn't a state when Lincoln freed the slaves. The black slaves in Oklahoma weren't freed until 20 years after the Civil War had ended.
There are still a few small towns in Oklahoma still populated almost entirely by the descendants of the black slaves.
