Why Didn't Trumpers Hate John McCain, Romney & Bush Sooner??

Unlike snowflakes, conservatives are not DRIVEN BY EMOTION / HATE and do NOT hate PEOPLE.

As for me personally, for example, there are a lot of policies, actions taken, and things said by McCain, Romney, and Bush I strongly disagreed with and opposed - still do; however, I never hated any of them personally. Snowflakes have accused me of 'hating' Barak Obama. I do not hate Obama - never have. I do not know Barak Obama. I strongly oppose, disagree with, rebuke many of his decisions, actions, violations of the law, his liberal agenda, etc..., but I do not hate the man.

THAT BEING SAID - FUNNY BUT TRUE JOHN McCAIN STORY:

While in the military I sent a letter to Senator McCain, knowing how much he supported the military, and proposed his introducing a bill to Congress calling for military personnel & their families being moved from a base in one state to a base in another state (PCS) be given the special benefit of being allowed to pay In-State tuition rate to attend colleges in the state they were moving to.

Military personnel & their families are up-rooted and moved ever few years to new bases, new states (when not being sent abroad). As they and their families are being ordered / made to move it only made sense to allow them to pay in-state tuition, a perk for being military and for being made to move (often). I honestly did not expect to get a response other than maybe one of those nice form letters that never address what you actually contacted them about. Until one evening I got a phone call...

I was told I was being called about my letter, and the individual on the other end said he was Senator John McCain. I laughed at him on the phone and said 'Yeah Right - this isn't John McCain'. After I apologized to him I pitched my idea...and at the end I sad if he thought it was a good idea and wanted to sponsor / create the bill and push it in Congress that HE COULD EVEN PUT HIS NAME 1ST ON THE BILL - 'The McCain-Easy Bill', that my name did not have to go first just because I came up with the idea. At this point it was HIS turn to laugh.

Long story short, he said the reps from other states would not go for it because they would be concerned it would threaten to alter the official home state of record, changing their official state residence status, for each military member and their family, but thanked me for the great idea. That is as close to 'getting to know' John McCain. I knew ABOUT him, had a conversation with him, but I did not know him. I found he had a sense of humor, which I did like, but I did not like a lot of things he did do. That does not mean I ever hated the man.

It seems whenever Trump attacks a recently deceased US Senator, his Trump cult members giggle like little school girls --- however it was just a little over 10 yrs ago, they were praising McCain and his running mate Palin as the God-sent saviors of Western civilization....Back when republicans claimed to be about working together and bipartisanship -- McCain teamed up with Russ Feingold to push for campaign finance reform; and from the article "In 2013, 68 senators, including 14 Republicans led by McCain, supported a security-for-citizenship bill that would have, among other provisions, offered “dreamers” (unauthorized immigrants who arrived as minors) legal status, built 700 miles of fencing along the southern border (part of $30 billion in beefed-up security) and repealed the “diversity visa” program, which distributes green cards by lottery"

It was no mystery that McCain was in favor of a humane and realistic approach to immigration, rather than the xenophobic racist demagoguery peddled by Trump -- it wasn't a mystery then, and you folks still worshipped and praised McCain when he ran for president -- yall even worshipped a plumber named Joe back then and wanted him to run for Senate -- you folks were willing to worship anyone back then...why the hate now? Because he lost to the black guy?

I remember when you folks praised Romney as the "successful businessman who will run Washington like his businesses" -- a couple of years after he lost to the black guy -- now you hate Romney and everything he stands for -- but what he stood for is everything republicans have stood for the last 50 years, why the hate now?

Remember how yall were when Bush was president? I know you guys like to pretend you didn't pay much attention to politics back then and you were all independents, but ok...Well, when Bush was president, he was praised and worshipped much like Trump --- in fact, if anyone dared speak out against the Iraq War, the Patriot Act, or just about anything Bush did -- that person was labeled a terrorist, a traitor...now you folks hate Bush...why the hate now? Because you blame Bush for the black guy winning?
