Why Can't the Left Let Go of Slavery?
Here's a conversation between two black men wherein the topic is "systemic racism" rather than slavery.
Obviously, there's a strong tie between today's racism and yesterday's slavery. Slavery essentially doesn't exist today because of the 13th Amendment. The Democrats desire to maintain the existence of a victim class is what drives their insistence that racism is systemic in our government and therefore will forever be part of our nation's way of life and the actual slavery of the past will always be the cause of it.
Listen to the words of these two men...especially the closing remarks of the guest.
This is the second video I have seen of the host, Marc Lamont Hill interviewing a conservative He was more polite in the first video by not interrupting the guest so often, but that is a common tactic of a host that recognizes when a point is about to be made that is in opposition to his desired outcome.
Mr. Jay-Juan Shakur Jones is correct in saying that white liberals (including but not limited to Democrats) want the issue of racism (seeded by slavery) to flourish and become a permanent label for the entire country, forever perpetuating their victim class. Their promoting of the 1619 Project and CRT is designed to do exactly that.
Mr. Hill is FOS.
