Why can't Israel fight its own wars??

Oh, now it’s, how they would pay ? I guess you could now claim we’ve made them pay by selling firearms to the drug dealers in all of Central America

Wrong again bubba…you’re in dream land. Medicare is socialism. You “saying” it’s mandatory makes it socialism…in reality, you can refuse coverage. Hypocrite. Social security is SOCIALISM too, as is Medicaid and many other public services paid for with taxes.
And you are also more wrong and ignorant as well, bubba ...

Socialism is an economic and political philosophy encompassing diverse economic and social systems characterised by social ownership of the means of production, as opposed to private ownership. It describes the economic, political, and social theories and movements associated with the implementation of such systems. Social ownership can take various forms, including public, community, collective, cooperative, or employee. As one of the main ideologies on the political spectrum, socialism is the standard left-wing ideology in most countries. Types of socialism vary based on the role of markets and planning in resource allocation, and the structure of management in organizations.

In the USA we have rather mild and limited examples of semi-socialism. Much of established and entrenched before many of us were born. However, not as extensive and encompassing as in many parts of the world.

As with Social Security, Medicare is another "tax" deduction taken out of most people's paycheck, and exemptions to both programs are based upon certain types of government employment that provide comparable programs as part of compensation of that employment.

Those of us in the private sector could decline using/being involved in Medicare (or Social Security), but that doesn't excuse us from paying the taxes for such.

An Israeli drone did this. Pagers are old tech. The Hamas terrorist Leader of "Al-Masri" ... Khaleel Jamal Al-Masri (40 years old), from Al-Thawra Street in Gaza, was taken out with no collateral damage.

This is the best way.

They should be scared...

It’s called social security for a reason. Both Medicare and social security, the gov has ownership of the taxed funds in support and the rules and regulations for their admission. They are both SOCIAL programs.

Current Status of the Southern Border Wall Construction
As of the latest U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) data, about 644 miles of primary wall and 75 miles of secondary wall were already in place along the U.S.–Mexico border before January 20, 2025, meeting Border Patrol operational requirements theworlddata.com.

Under the “Smart Wall” program, which combines steel bollard barriers, waterborne barriers, patrol roads, and detection technology, CBP has since awarded contracts and begun construction. As of June 2026, the program’s status is as follows U.S. Customs and Border Protection:

  • Primary Smart Wall (New): 38.7 miles completed since Jan 20, 2025, with 247.8 miles under construction and 342.8 miles planned (not yet awarded).
  • Primary Smart Wall (Replacement): 16.1 miles completed, with 43.1 miles under construction.
  • Waterborne Barrier System: 14.9 miles completed, with 112.5 miles under construction and 408.2 miles planned.
  • Secondary Border Wall: 22 miles completed, with 183 miles under construction and 302 miles planned.
  • Vehicle Barrier: 174 miles planned, with 0 completed so far.
Total miles of primary and secondary walls completed since Jan 20, 2025: about 38.7 + 16.1 + 22 = 76.8 miles of physical barriers, plus 14.9 miles of waterborne barriers.

If you include all completed barrier types, the total physical barrier miles built since the start of the new construction phase is roughly 91 miles.

Important context:

  • About 535 miles of the border remain unfenced due to terrain, but are covered by detection technology U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
  • The goal is to complete the full “Smart Wall” system, including all planned barrier types, by 2029 theworlddata.com.
In short, nearly 100 miles of new or replacement border barriers have been built since January 2025, but the total physical wall length is still far from the 1,419 miles of primary wall planned for the new Smart Wall system U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

Lots of planning…..no wall. No Mexico funds. Nope. More BS.

It’s called social security for a reason. Both Medicare and social security, the gov has ownership of the taxed funds in support and the rules and regulations for their admission. They are both SOCIAL programs.
"SOCIAL" programs are not classic definition of "socialism".
The State doesn't own means of production, just means for wealth confiscation and then that wealth redistribution.

More than a subtle difference, but either you fail to grasp such or are intentionally distorting~lying.

Lots of planning…..no wall. No Mexico funds. Nope. More BS.
And if the "walls" were fully in place and spanned full length of the border, then you would gripe and complain about how unfair they are to restrict illegal entrances.

The "About" on your Profile page shows you are a nothing; I'll consider that proof of your useless content here.
Consider all you want. You follow a convicted felon off a cliff so your “ opinion” means nothing.

The wall isn’t, never will be finished nor was it paid for by Mexico. Trump is a scammer and you’re his mouthpiece.

From a non-productive parasitic POS who doesn't earn it's own keep guess what that makes you and your worthless opinion ???

Has and will be as the toll/tax/tariff on funds transfer from USA on the money the illegals send out of country kick in.

How is Medicare paid for?
You can't do a basic web search it seems ....

How is Medicare funded?

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is the federal agency that runs the Medicare Program. CMS is a branch of the

Department of Health and Human Services.

CMS also monitors

Medicaid
programs offered by each state.

In 2024, Medicare covered over 67.6 million people. Total expenditures in 2024 were just over $1.1 trillion. This money comes from the Medicare Trust Funds.

Medicare Trust Funds

Medicare is paid for through 2 trust fund accounts held by the U.S. Treasury. These funds can only be used for Medicare.

Hospital Insurance (HI) Trust Fund

How is it funded?

  • Payroll taxes paid by most employees, employers, and people who are self-employed
  • Other sources, like these:
    • Income taxes paid on Social Security benefits
    • Interest earned on the trust fund investments
    • Medicare Part A premiums from people who aren't eligible for premium-free Part A

What does it pay for?

  • Medicare Part A (Hospital Insurance)
    benefits, like inpatient hospital care,
    skilled nursing facility (SNF) care
    ,
    home health care
    , and
    hospice care
  • Medicare Program administration, like costs for paying benefits, collecting Medicare taxes, and fighting fraud and abuse

Supplementary Medical Insurance (SMI) Trust Fund

How is it funded?

  • Funds authorized by Congress
  • Premiums from people enrolled in
    Medicare Part B (Medical Insurance)
    and
    Medicare drug coverage (Part D)
  • Other sources, like interest earned on the trust fund investments

What does it pay for?

  • Part B benefits
  • Part D
  • Medicare Program administration, like costs for paying benefits and for fighting fraud and abuse
  • Medicare.gov

It’s called social security for a reason. Both Medicare and social security, the gov has ownership of the taxed funds in support and the rules and regulations for their admission. They are both SOCIAL programs.
Both are poor plans as they always go broke. Medicare only covers 50% of costs so you still have to buy a private supplement.
Social programs are not socialism just because they have social in their titles. How dumb can you be. Are social workers socialists Duh

I don't need to do a web search, I already know how it's funded.

So the short answer is that it is paid for with payroll taxes.

So it is very much socialism.
A tax isnt socialism. Socialism is total control. If SS was socialist policy you would nt be allowed by law to have IRA 401K or pension.
Your employer pays half the tax so business is paying half of it.
You have no idea how its funded
