Why Build Back Better Is So Unloved

Of those polled only forty-one percent support the Build Back Better legislation, while thirty-four percent oppose the bill and twenty-five percent are unsure (obviously the typically clueless centrists).

BBB is written to provide benefits to aid many average Americans damaged economically by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and other long-standing issues. But even with a full forty-one percent support, the voices of the thirty-four percent are heard much more clearly by the corporate news media, the congressional Republicans, and the spineless “moderate” Democrats led by the self-serving, Joe Manchin.

However, there are two groups very appreciative of the thirty-four percent’s opposition, they are Big Business and America’s billionaire class. After all, corporate leaders and billionaires are always standing by with their hands out, eager to rake in free money from the federal, state, and local governments. In fact, Big Business and the billionaires hire lobbyists to ensure legislation is passed guaranteeing an endless flow of free government money will be provided them. Those who oppose BBB consider federal hand-outs of this nature to be one of the many benefits of American style, free market capitalism.

you don't have any fking idea what's in the bill. None. You agree to be a sheep and that's all you'll be. Go eat your oats.

not existing is what made it better,,
So you concede that when Trump was proclaiming "infrastructure week" every two weeks -- it was ok as long as he was lying about it.....that is basically a grown ass man playing dress up ...and you are ok with that why?

Same thing with his disaster of a healthcare plan -- that got less than 40% support from his own Republican voters....but hey, as long as he can play dress up as a "great deal maker" -- who cares that his policies are trash

no,,

They got the trillion dollar infrastructure bill passed.

BBB is just a smokescreen. It was never expected to pass. This is politics 101

well you don't have more than that percentage right now. what is your point?

So why would Trump have infrastructure week every 2 weeks and not put together a single infrastructure bill?? For his whole entire term.....not a single bill......

Biden gets a bipartisan bill passed in his first 10 months -- and even has Republicans who voted against it -- looking like fools and taking credit for that bill....

But you are saying....passing no bill is good because somehow, infrastructure magically repairs itself

infrastructure is a state issue not federal,,

Build Back Bolshevik is "unloved" because it's a unpaid for multi-trillion dollar Marxist scam, that every demoncrat from Maine to Fornicalia is lying out their asses about.

It's not at all complicated.
The opposition to this bill, which provides enormous benefits to everyday Americans, child tax credit extension, daycare subsidies, free universal preschool, expanded health care subsidies, paid family leave, expansion of the earned income tax credit for those without children, increased deductions for state and local taxes, reduced prescription drug prices as Medicare will finally be allowed to negotiate prescription drug prices, coverage for hearing aids with Medicare, a very much needed benefit, and a tax credit of up to $12,500 for buying an American made electric car, comes strictly from corporations and wealthy Americans with incomes in excess of ten million dollars a flippin year. For one damn reason, first, a minimum 15% tax on corporations. I mean those greedy ass corporations can't even leave a good damn tip for the country that provides them with the infrastructure, and the financial protections, to do business. And a 5% surtax on those with incomes in excess of 10 million dollars. Damn what a bunch of cheap ass shits. I mean talk about a bunch of ungrateful damn assholes. And Joe Manchin, he is pimping himself out to those greedy multi-millionaires and cheap ass corporations at the expense of the good hard working people of West Virginia.

Me, I would hit their ass with a ten percent surtax AND eliminate the cap on Social Security taxes. I would also eliminate the capital gains tax and replace it with the income tax. After all, income is flippin damn income. The rich keep getting richer, the poor keep getting poorer, and it is precisely because the playing field is tilted to the advantage of the rich. Which is not only stupid, but a violation of Christain law.

You must not pervert justice; you must not show partiality to the poor or favoritism to the rich; you are to judge your neighbor fairly. Leviticus 19:15

Christian nation my damn ass.

didn't need one conservative vote. hardly bipartisan. You keep conning those who wish to be conned, for me you can fk off with your lies.

Yea....which poll are you talking about??

FD2AhUYXEAEpITq.jpg

And when you name specific parts of that bill...like universal child care....majority popular support...

September-2021-National-Poll_4.png

Expanding Medicare.....popular support...

Now....list me all of those super popular Republican bills from the last 4 or 5 years.....at the moment, the only things Republicans have done is focus on voter suppression and whine about Big Bird or some other goofy manufactured outrage

Bipartisan = both Republicans and Democrats voted for it...

It doesn't require your favorite "Conservative" to vote for it...

Most of your "favorite "Conservatives" have no interest in passing bills...all they do is pass off goofy shit for you to be mad about....to distract from the fact that when they were in power...they didn't really deliver shit but trolling and fake grievances....
