What did companies do with their big corporate tax cuts? The blew a big chunk of it on stock buy backs, directly leading to higher stock prices, more profits, more liquidity in economy and yes, of course, more purchasing power and inflation. This while our deficits blew past all records.
So in effect government fed liquidity into economy by expanding deficits. Are you now going to deny that this contributes to inflation?
