Why are USA's public school graduates inferior to those of many other nations?
Why are graduates of USA's public educational training systems academically and vocationally inferior to Germany's and many other nations' public school graduates? Any improvement of a nation's educational and training practices will no lesser improve the nation's social and economic well-being.

World Best Education Systems
No puzzle to an open-minded teacher. When I was teaching and when my daughter was in DC schools the culprit was almost 90% federal funding of education. It gave incentives for every bad educational move
1) It made it easy for schools to increase costs almost at will
"From 1981-82 to 2021-22, the cost of attending a four-year college in the U.S. has ballooned from $11,840 a year to
$30,031 a year — representing a 153 percent increase in the last 40 year"
2) It gave a stranglehold on discipline, teaching, and morals even through state licensing, accreditation, Title IX legislation, etc.
3) It created a link between School unions and the Feds : WSJ said that the unions forced compliance from Biden on all sorts of issues that ended up hurting millions of kids [
The Teachers Unions Roll Over Biden
Even a $130 billion bribe won’t get them back in the classroom this school year. ]
4) Why do stricter testing laws seem to always produce less able children. Simple
5) And here is the thing I must admit if I'm honest :
There is really nothing very mysterious about why our public schools are failures. When you select the poorest quality college students to be public school teachers, give them iron-clad tenure, a captive audience, and pay them according to seniority rather than performance, why should the results be surprising? THOMAS SOWELL --- I think immdediately of Dr Jill Biden, who is poorly spoken and not very bright.
