On the other hand, Public Schools are still grinding out kids who are dumber than stumps, and patting themselves on the back for doing a good job.

So if we want better people teaching were going to have to pay more to attract them. Hey go into teaching you will be making g 50 grand in about 10 years. That's not going to attract people.

I agree.

I think the other part of the problem is that a lot of people going into teaching with this idealistic view of how much they like kids.

Only to realize... children are kind of awful in large numbers.

Vouchers fail because they don't change chicken shit students into chicken salad.

That's usually who benefits White suburban parents who enroll their kids in private school but now don't have to pay tuition.

Changing the student location does nothing to improve defective educational skills. .

Vouchers would mandate private schools no longer get to decline any students. Even the most disruptive get accepted.
