No that didn't apply to Trump. Despite overwhelming evidence of his guilt, and being twice impeached by the House, the gutless Senate is unlikely to convict Donald Trump even of this, making a mockery of the impeachment process.

Donald Trump has been a corrupt criminal all of his life, facing his first federal charges in the 1970's. He was in the middle of a class action fraud trial brought by hundreds of investors, involving more than $100 million in fraud. He settled the case after he won the election, but he was losing before he settled.

The the case of Kavenaugh, the White House barred the FBI from talking to any witnesses and the Senate refused to call any witnesses other than Dr. Ford. There is very strong evidence against Kavenaugh, but those who contacted the FBI with evidence, and who stated that they wished to testify, were never interviewed by the FBI on specific orders from the White House.

Those who were interviewed by the FBI had little to offer but told the agents of other witnesses they knew did have information. The FBI did not follow up on any of those leads, on specific orders from the White House.

The Federalist Society received a $17 million donation from an undisclosed donor, to "promote" the nomination of Brett Kavenaugh to the SC. A similar $17 million donation was used to promote the nomination of Amy Coney Barrett.

So yes, this is one form of Justice for Trump and Kavenaugh, and quite another standard when it's Hillary Clinton being investigated for 35 years with no charges being filed - ever, for anything.

Manafort's tax evasion, bank and wire fraud arose directly as a result of the investigation of Russian interference. Knowledge that he was engaged in such activities, would give the Russians leverage over Manafort to ensure his cooperation with the Russians, and his continuing silence over their role, and motive for his lies.

The Democrats say they’re doing it because Donald Trump must be prevented from running again in four years. But if Joe Biden really received more votes than any candidate in history, wouldn’t they relish the chance to do it again? In 2020 we were certainly hoping they’d nominate Hillary again, so Trump could beat her again.


Could it be that the Democrats don’t know if they can beat Trump in four years, because they don’t really know if they beat him this time? That would explain a lot. Under that scenario it would make perfect sense that we’re going through another impeachment proceeding. It would also explain why we have 25,000 troops guarding the capital and why it’s so important to quash any discussion of election fraud.
