Why Are So Many Democratic Politicians So Far Out of Touch? - New York Times

I wonder how his followers don't realize how stupid trump is. A smart person would never threaten to sue his schools if they released his grades. That's a dead giveaway.
His followers are dumber than he is. They think he is a brilliant businessman.

They can't seem to follow his cues either. When he's in big trouble he digs down deeper into his bottomless chest of lies and accents everything with more signficance , getting louder and making it even more obnoxious. He's been doing that ever since he took on Iran. It must be really bad. I have a good solution for it but I don't think he'd go for it. Not enough of everything he wants out of it.

Not yet, because we trusted Donald J Trump not to start another "forever war" solely to serve Israel.

The current post 1998 GOP is obsessed with and addicted to selling out our troops to serve Israel. The GOP base is fracturing on that issue.
Trump doesn't have anything at all to do with the Libertarian party and, as I posted, the Libertarian party has gone downhill year after year after year until it reached only 1% last election.

You do not speak for us, Traitor.
I speak the truth. The Libertarian party is a nothing. You got .42% of the vote in 2024. Do you define that as "robust"? Hell, the Green Party did better than you at .57% of the vote and RFK Jr. did better than you and he wasn't even running.

7% of Americans identify as Libertarian. Not all are registered as such. Every vote counts in America
No one should be dismissed as nothing.

Well, they are mostly quiet because they don't want to be excommunicated from the party. I read that out of the 19 people expected to run for the democrat nominee for president in 2028, only one, Rhaem Emannuel, has the guts to come out against that part of the party line.
Well, the fact remains that the topic is not really important. If I was a representative of the Democratic Party, I would ignore the topic altogether. It is not worth taking a position on either side. If you take a position for transgender, you will lose votes of those against transgender people and if you take a position against transgender, you will lose votes of the transgender people. So what is the benefit of taking any position?

If you have no position, you don't lose any votes!!!!!

It is a lose, lose position if you voice an opinion, so why do it?

If it's not important then why can't the left just be against it?

???? why be against anything that is not a factor in most people's lives?

Here's a piece of information for you:

I am 80 years old and I have NEVER met, know, or know of anyone of the thousands of people I have met in my life that has met or had any touch with a transgender athlete. Why would I have any interest in having an opinion if I have never had any involvement or been affected in any way by a transgender athlete?

Have you ever had any contact or been affected by a transgender athlete yourself?

Answer that!

So your 80 and dem? So you really out of touch

So why are you against it if young women who aren’t out of touch, are actually dealing with it and impacted by it? Why not side with them?

So, then why did the left outlaw large groups of people at your own home and encourage friends, relatives, and neighbors to report large gatherings at your home to the police? And, the HVAC systems in restaurants spread germs throughout the whole dining room so you really weren't safe in the dining room as even a table clear across the room could have their Covid germs spread throughout the entire restaurant, let alone a table closer to you.
That’s rhetorical right?

It’s rhetorical though
No that would suggest I know the answer

After reading his post, I really don’t know

I can assume it’s because as the NY Times found, he’s just out of touch with the American people due to being a Dem
