Struggling in polls, Arizona Republican Senate candidate Blake Masters is trying to purge his previous record of total opposition to legal abortion. And other Republican candidates in key statewide races are also shying away from their previous hard-line positions.

On Thursday, Masters released a new video in which he accused Democratic Sen. Mark Kelly of lying about his record on abortion. In the ad, Masters says he opposes late-term abortion — an extremely rare procedure, usually done to protect the health of the mother — and says “most people support common-sense regulation,” without detailing what that regulation should be.

Masters himself has proposed extreme restrictions on abortion, including a federal law criminalizing the procedure as murder and banning some forms of contraception.

Following the leak in May of a draft opinion showing the Supreme Court was set to overturn Roe v. Wade, Masters said he didn’t think leaving abortion policy to the states went far enough.

Why? Women voters. You lose any R women votes you are toast.

Actually, it is younger men who are big abortion supporters.

I wonder why? 🤔
But women vote more than men.

"Combine those results with polls that show Democratic Senate candidates leading in a half dozen swing states plus a surge of women registering to vote this summer in several states, and you have the evidence that has caused nonpartisan analysts to drastically scale back their expectations for GOP victories this fall"

Well, no. Many young men, especially conservatives, get off on the tought of forcing women to be their incubators. It makes them feel all manly. These losers see a pregnancy trap as the only possible way they can keep a woman in a relationship.

It's called cuckholding.

Why are Republicans backing away from Abortion after the Primaries?

1. The USSC already settled the federal issue of Abortion,r returning legislative authority of abortions over to rhe STATES.

2. As Americans pointed out in several polls now, Abortion isn't one of the top issues/ concerns they are facing in Biden's failed Presidenct that is only 1 3/4 years in so far.

Un-Constitutional illegal immigration, Bidenflation / Recession, Loss of energy independence / higher gas prices, un-Constitutional student debt relief ALL tax payers will have to pay for, higher taxes, a Non-Inflation- Lowering 'Inflation Reduction' Democrat spending bill, elimination of fossil fuel use which we have hundreds of years worth, this forced' transition, continued Democrat Insider Trading and breaking laws, Biden's Gestapo FBI & crooked DOJ, etc...

Abortion isn't anywhere near the top of American's concerns, no matter how badly Democrats are trying to make it be.

Because to most SANE people there is a difference between a Fetus and an Actual Baby.

I know that you will NEVER actually accept that 99.99% of people in the USA don't have hopes of killing babies.

But keep up the HATE, you are very good at it.
That isn’t sane, you’re the one spreading irrational and stupid hate against those you want dead, fucko.

Every Democrat needs to hit their opponent hard that they will ban abortion if elected

Make Republicans run on it

All of those intellectual women getting their asses pregnant is a joke. Guys today just screw and get out of dodge because of their extremist personalities. By the time they are in their 40's the bitterness becomes even worse. There are many stories in the big city for all of us. This is just one of them. And in the end, they will lament who they voted in as the dictatorship expands.

Because they fucked-up with trigger laws and such nonsense when it was returned to the states.

It should have already been put to a vote by the citizens of each state when they had their primaries instead of legislated by a bunch of bible-thumper dependent legislators.

Typical dumb-shit gop behavior.

Because the issue belongs to the people (or the States' constitutions, if the people were stupid enough to enact a reproductive amendment). The issue does not belong to the federal government. As prescribed by the Tenth Amendment to the US Constitution.

Bottom line: if the state (or federal) government controls abortion, then they may very well control all aspects of reproduction, including your gender, how many kids you are "allowed" to have, what genetic makeup your unborn baby is "allowed" to have before birth...ect ect ect.

Undeniable proof that republicans are fucking cowards.
