Criminals are in prison because they commit many crimes. You don't get sent to prison for your first crime, a criminal commits a bunch of crimes before getting caught the first time, then he gets a stern talking to by the judge and is released. Then he commits a bunch more crimes before getting caught and gets probation. Then he commits a bunch more crimes and gets a short jail sentence and is released. Then he commits a bunch more crimes and finally gets a prison term. By the time anyone gets sentenced to prison he has committesd hundreds of crimes and been caught at least four times.

So much of the current political discussion in this Country is about violence in our communities. The event in Charlotte, Chicago, Washington, and many other major cities where violent crime is out of control. What is not being discussed, what is ignored, is race. In most of these cities black men are the overwhelming perpetrators of the violence.

Blacks are 12.5% of the U.S. Population and yet commit 54% of the violent crime according to the FBI. Violent crime is defined as rape, murder, aggravated assault, and armed robbery.

And let's be fair, it is not black women that are committing these crimes, it is mostly young black men. And let me be clear: Facts are not racist. Blacks have a massive problem with violence in their community, particularly black men.
