We eat too much period, particularly load ourselves up with fat and sugar.
 
It's the use of high fructose corn syrup in everything.
It does not satiate hunger even if you have a belly full of it.....you will still feel hungry. Sucrose doesn't do that.
Neither does dextrose or lactose. Same with Natural fructose.

If you want syrup, just use fresh maple syrup.
 
I anybody needs it explained to them, they're a fucking moron.
 
When you eat homemade bread made from genuine ingredients, you can't consider what is wrapped in plastic on the supermarket shelf to be real bread. When you eat real butter, margarine tastes like shit. Real maple syrup tapped from any maple tree is better than Yo Moma's artificially brown-colored corn syrup, in fact, it is the nectar of the gods. Micro-brewed or craft-brewed beer made from farm-to-table ingredients is superior to the corporate piss water claimed to be beer at the party store.
 
Really take a little time and examine what you stick in your pie hole for a couple days

You do realize that it takes more than just what you eat that determines how much fat your body stores. How well your body metabolizes your food and whether or not your hormones are in balance contribute to the weight your body maintains.

I'm speaking from personal experience. I topped out at 110 lbs at age 14 and stayed at that weight give or take 10 pounds until I entered my 50s. And then all hell broke loose.

When I was at 110 pounds there was nothing I could do to put on weight. I tried everything including increasing my daily calorie intake by drinking milk shakes, taking a weight gain product called "Weight On" as well as another which was marketed as a "Rapid Weight Gain Protein Powder". NOTHING worked and the most I ever achieved was maybe 2 1/2 pounds.

You'd be surprised at how much our hormones influence our weight and well being, both physical and mental.

A lot of people who are overweight are not overweight because they eat excessively. Often their bodies are not optimally metabolizing their food and sometimes it's because of a hormonal imbalances.
