On October 9, 2020, BIDEN was ahead of Trump nationally by 9.6% points in the average of the latest national polls by Real Clear Politics.

So that is a 50% increase in BIDEN's lead nationally 10 days after the first debate.

Trump was an impeached back in December 2019 before the virus had arrived in the states. Biden was dominating in the polls too. Today, Biden's lead has only grown even after the debate.
