Like it or not if the receiver has a right to come back to the ball and if the DB impedes that it’s DPI even if the receiver has his hands on the DB. The crowd in Denver being mad that Denver had a penalty called against them isn’t exactly compelling evidence that a foul wasn’t committed. Watching the video it looked like DPI to me and I had zero skin in that game.

McCarthy is the only QB drafted that we don't know what he is because he hasn't been able to stay on the field. Availability is an ability for sure, but you can grade his performance at the position until we get a greater sample size.

My take has been the same all along. Rattler has a terrible supporting cast that just got worse with his center going on IR. His line sucks. Olave is up and down. Vele is not 100%. Kamara is good but he is one old back.

David Carr was the greatest ever QB prospect, and what happened to him? He played immediately behind a horrible OL and it doesn't matter how good you are if that is the case, you get pounded.

Rattler is an elite QB prospect with a great arm. That's been my take all along, and I don't see any reason to change it.

In all 7 teams (who didn’t draft a QB in 2024) who definitely needed a QB passed on Rattler. Giants, Jets, Steelers, Titans, Raiders, Colts, and Seahawks.

I’m sure you think you know better than these professionals who are paid lots of money and whose job it is to know more than you. And please don’t cite the exceptions. For every 5th- 7th rounder you name that was way under drafted (Brady) I can name 100 who weren’t.

Your second clue should be his play on the field in NFL games.

ROFL. Ok. Those 7 teams I listed minus maybe the Jets (Rodgers was there) were having open QB competitions. Rattler wasn’t drafted because NFL scouting depts and GMs didn’t see him as a top end prospect. His play on the field is bearing that out.
