I am reminded of the scene in the movie “Serpico” where the NYPD entry team set Serpico up as the first guy through the door and then held back long enough for him to take a bullet before backing him up as they should have. I wonder why that scene popped into my head after all these years.

Narrative hasnt changed.Where has the Anti Trump rhetoric been coming from? but honestly its too early to say for sure what the motivating factors were. The thing that stands out is his age. What radicallizes a 20 year old that much to throw his life away. There has to be a huge motivating factor unless he was just completely crazy, and if thats the case, political affiliation is a non factor.
