I bet there are alot of people in Europe that want to kick Obama & Biden's ass for that decision.Who made that call? Biden?
Congressional consent??..ever hear of the War Powers Resolution passed in Sept of 2001. Congress gave G.W the power to 'go after Saddam' for 9/11. Voters wanted retribution for 9/11 so stood by and let congress pass some bad legislation. This War Powers Resolution was one, the other was the Patriot Act. The War Powers Resolution pretty much gives POTUS the authority to by pass congress when it comes to initiating military operations against other countries.Who made that call? Biden?

This bill needs to be about 3 or 4 sentences. What do you bet it will be hundreds of pages with a bunch of bullshit?Yesterday, Sen Tim Kaine (D-VA) introduced a resolution (S.J. Res 10) to strip Biden of his unilateral war powers in the Middle East.
S.J.Res.10 - A joint resolution to repeal the authorizations for use of military force against Iraq, and for other purposes.
No text is available yet, but it will be here:

Text for S.J.Res.10 - 117th Congress (2021-2022): A joint resolution to repeal the authorizations for use of military force against Iraq, and for other purposes.www.congress.gov
There is an article about it here:
Biden could be stripped of war powers after Syria airstrike
U.S. senators introduced bipartisan legislation on Wednesday to repeal decades-old authorizations for the use of military force used to justify years of attacks in the Middle East.www.dailymail.co.uk
For the record, I am not in favor of just about anything Tim Kaine does, so I am probably not in support of this bill either, even though we all know Biden has compromised judgment and war sux. Presidents often have to make decisions about strikes on a moment's notice.
