Who is the best QB in this picture?

This one set all the records that they broke....Back in the day when if you passed over 20 times a game, you probably lost.....Except that he didn't.

Tarkinton?

Favre and Rodgers only have one Super Bowl win each.
ok so by your metric Brady is by far better than Starr and Unitas. Thanks.

Are you playing with a full deck?
So 7 is more than 2 or 1. And your argument for Starr over Farve or Rodgers is he has more SBs 2 to their 1 each. So which is it? Either the number of SBs is the metric by which we determine who’s the best or it isn’t.

Pocket Statue QB: Brady *only as good as the OLine allows him to be (Dan Fouts, Marino, Mannings, Jim Hart lol!)
Moving run QB: Montana *can do more with a lesser Oline. (Mahomes, Tarkenton, Staubach, Lamar)

** For todays' throwing Game I would take a QB able to move for my team. No Statue QB allowed.

Don't forget Bradshaw won 4 SB. He did not mess it up. His stats don't jump off the charts but he was a hybrid runner thrower sort of.

Jim Plunket won 2 of 2. Calm cool, team under control. His stats don't jump off the page either. But a true winner.

You're just ******* with us, right?
Or are you really, really high?
NFL career: 48.9% completions for 5911 yards, 40 TD's, 64 interceptions.
:laughing0301:
Yes, but Joe used his head. Literally.

By that metric, Michael Vick was the greatest of all time, but we know he wasn't.

The Pats had a killer offensive line for years. Brady isn't as good as Joe if the line collapses.

Brady's my #2, but it's Joe Money as far as talent and knowing what to do and getting it done.

Did anyone else in that group have someone they taught win a Superbowl?

I rest my case.
Pop quiz: What was the only season in which the Patriots missed the playoffs between 2003 and 2019 inclusive? Answer: 2008, the year in which Brady missed the entire season. No player has been more valuable to a team over a longer period than Brady. 49ers were less dependent on Montana, as they won with Young as well.

He was tough as hell, I'll give you that.
Actually I was joking about Kapp. But he was a tough charismatic leader with little talent who inspired guys. He is the only QB to start a Rose Bowl Grey Cup Championship game, and Super Bowl.
