Dan Marino had to be the quickest learner for a quarterback in the NFL

Because in his first start against the Raiders in the 1983 season when he was a rookie,the first half of the game,he did not look like an NFL quarterback as you can see by watching this game but when the second half came around,he made an INCREDIBLE adjustment and looked like he had been an NFL quarterback playing in the league for two years as you will see if you watch the game below. It would be impressive enough had it been his second year but this was his ROOKIE season no less!!!!

In a comparison of another great hall of fame quarterback,John Elway after like 4 starts or so got benched his rookie year for most of the remainder of the year.
