Who is Rick Perry?

If that were the case, we'd be defending you.

How would you have reacted if President Obama wanted to force your 12 year old daughter to get a shot to prevent STDs?

Not many 12 year olds get cancer dumbass. It's not exactly a communicable disease now is it. Put down the bong for a few moments and answer the question.

Do you want teens exposed to cancer, yes or no? Just answer the question.

Wow Rabbi...that's a very "socialist" position you are taking. Since obesity is a much greater threat even than cervical cancer, do you also support requiring healthier meal choices in schools and in the children's menus at fast food establishments?

A very good question. Well Rabid....what say you?:lol::lol:

Odd how us "right-wing-nut-jobs are chastised when we spoke up against schools handing out condoms, huh?

Weird,

Strange.....

:eusa_whistle:

Did you get a groin pull with that stretch?

Yes.

Wanna kiss it?

:fu:

STD/Birth control being pushed on kids against parents' wishes.
Where's the stretch?

Because it's not an injection?
Puh-lease
:eusa_hand:

A condom is a passive receptacle that poses no threat. Gardasil is, in Reich Perry's case is a forced inoculation that has serious side effects. Huge difference but you'll try to find someway to make it seem like it is the same thing.

We're not discussing obesity, Mary. But schools already have healthier choices being introduced.
So do you want girls exposed to cancer when a single vaccine can prevent it? Yes or no.

Here is the story about Why Ricky wants to force your daughter to get a shot that she doesn't need and may kill her:

AUSTIN (AP) -- Gov. Rick Perry ordered Friday that schoolgirls in Texas must be vaccinated against the sexually transmitted virus that causes cervical cancer, making Texas the first state to require the shots.

The girls will have to get Merck & Co.'s new vaccine against strains of the human papillomavirus, or HPV, that are responsible for most cases of cervical cancer.

Merck is bankrolling efforts to pass laws in state legislatures across the country mandating it Gardasil vaccine for girls as young as 11 or 12. It doubled its lobbying budget in Texas and has funneled money through Women in Government, an advocacy group made up of female state legislators around the country.

Details of the order were not immediately available, but the governor's office confirmed to The Associated Press that he was signing the order and he would comment Friday afternoon.

Perry has several ties to Merck and Women in Government. One of the drug company's three lobbyists in Texas is Mike Toomey, his former chief of staff. His current chief of staff's mother-in-law, Texas Republican state Rep. Dianne White Delisi, is a state director for Women in Government.

Typical politician; proven again.

Except he can't put out a fire in his state. Been burning since January Rick. Time to man up and put it out; dontcha think?

OK, I'll ask again: How much money did Merck make on this and how much did they give to Perry? Just the facts here please. That Perry's former secretary's husband is a druggist is not really very relevant, thanks.

He he he....too damn funny. You should do stand up.

Perry's former Chief of Staff was ramming through the deal. The Texas Legislature bitch-slapped Perry and his former COS.

Druggist...secretary's husband? Seriously...from what asscrack do you get this nonsense?

Again...the questions you're obviously too chickenshit to answer.

If President Obama had suggested such a plan, how would you have reacted?

You were also asked:

Wow Rabbi...that's a very "socialist" position you are taking. Since obesity is a much greater threat even than cervical cancer, do you also support requiring healthier meal choices in schools and in the children's menus at fast food establishments?

Well, what say you?

Rick Perry is the next POTUS.

The whole cervical cancer vaccine thing is no big deal. He didn't force a vaccine on anyone, because parents had the right to opt out, and he addmited he should not have used an executive order. Regardless of how anyone feels about the issue, it will not be a major issue, if that's all they have on him they have nothing.

Many of my fellow conservatives were disappointed with what his stance on illegal immigration, but we must have the latino vote. like it or not we are a nation divided, and hispanics feel threatened by hard line conservative views on immigration.

Understand Perry and Rubio is a sixteen year deal. After they get elected, then they can crack down on illegas, but they have to get elected first.:eusa_drool:

The know nothing Right wing stance of "deport em all" is not a conservative view at all. Conservatism posits the free movement of labor and capital. Controls on entry and exit mitigate against that. That doesnt mean we need no controls. But obviously what we are doing is not working.

I personally agree, but other conservatives are opposed to anything that resembles any type of amnesty period. The only problem i have with giving illegal children an education, is that that type of policy encourages defectors, but conditions in their countries are often so bad that encouragement isn't needed.

We do need a more effective boarder policy, and we do need to deport more.

We do need a more effective boarder policy, and we do need to deport more.

We need an entire new look at what we're doing and why. We have had 30 years of enforce and deport and it doesn't work.
Issue work permits with biometric information at the border quickly and at low cost. This allows anyone crossing to work and pay taxes legally. The permit also contains a laissez passer that allows travel back over that specific border where they entered. If someone wants to become a citizen then they must start there. Once that's done, we can assume anyone passing illegally into the U.S. is bent on illegal acts like drug smuggling and the border becomes a free fire zone.

The vaccine does not prevent it. No vaccine prevents it.
INFORMATION ABOUT GARDASIL

GARDASIL is the only human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine that helps protect against 4 types of HPV. In girls and young women ages 9 to 26, GARDASIL helps protect against 2 types of HPV that cause about 75% of cervical cancer cases, and 2 more types that cause 90% of genital warts cases. In boys and young men ages 9 to 26, GARDASIL helps protect against 90% of genital warts cases.

GARDASIL also helps protect girls and young women ages 9 to 26 against 70% of vaginal cancer cases and up to 50% of vulvar cancer cases.
GARDASIL may not fully protect everyone, nor will it protect against diseases caused by other HPV types or against diseases not caused by HPV.

GARDASIL does not prevent all types of cervical cancer, so it’s important for women to continue routine cervical cancer screenings. GARDASIL does not treat cancer or genital warts. GARDASIL is given as 3 injections over 6 months.

Teenaged girls are nowhere close to being in danger of getting cervical cancer. You, as usual, have zero idea of what you're talking about.

Again, if Obama wanted to force your daughter to get these shots...how would you have reacted? Hmmm?

Sealing the border is the only way to go; Turning it into a free-fire zone is another boneheaded idea

Actually you are correct, it is a bad idea. We need to close the border, deport, and give some a path to citizenship.

You need to see the proctologist about that head up your ass.

Gardasil reduces the probability of developing cervical cancer. If you think teenaged girls dont get cervical cancer I can probably find you a few graves. But it works beyond the teenaged years, when people really do get cervical cancer.

As to the border, the Chinese cannot seal their border with N.Korea, despite being considerably smaller and the Chinese having few scruples about land mines and such. So how are we supposed to seal a border that is among the longest in the world with much of it remote from populated areas? And if we did, would it be worth it compared to other solutions? Answer, no.

OK, so you're going to vote for Perry because both of you have the same agenda. Glad to know it. Let's get America working again.

Perry's support has nothing to do with health concerns and everything to do with his ties to the drug company that provides them. As Sarah Palin said, it's crony capitalism at it's finest.

So, do you also support helmet laws and and smoking bans, especially in cars with children?

Are you going to bother answering the question about how much Merck made from the vaccine and how much they contributed, or are you jsut going to beat a dead horse because you're losing this argument?

It was almost $30K that Perry got from Merck
