First, candidates tend to be volunteers. They have to be willing to campaign as prime occupation, often to neglect of their job/business, spend about 24/7 traveling about to "meet-n-greet", enduring personal insults and abuse from the opposition, and most importantly solicit funding to cover expenses of traveling, staff and office(rent, phones, etc.), costs of signs and adverts on radio/TV, etc.

It's clear you have no real world experience working with either major party locally nor being involved in a candidates campaign. Also clear you flunked any education on the Constitution, American Government or basic human psychology. Had you done any of this you'd see there tends to be significant differences often on most issues related to a campaign for an office.
