Who Here Has Had Enough of the Two Party System?

Is it time to ditch the two party system?

  • Yes. The two-party pissing match is destroying the country.

  • No. The two party system is good for America.

  • It's different when my side does it!

Results are only viewable after voting.
Fk dude, I don't disagree with that at all. Get money out of politics, and initiate term limits. I'll say it till I die. Don't hear you all saying it. just bitching and going on with political nonsense
There are costs involved in politics, who and how do you suggest they be paid.
Term limits are supposed to be what happens when the people vote. Most often we see only about half who could vote, doing such.
BTW, if one is an intelligent voter, won't matter how much is spent on campaigning that doesn't match your values, you vote the person, not the funding/campaign.

it's simple, everyone gets the same amount of money, how you spend it is up to the candidate or all adds are zero dollars.

term limits is the savior.

Not necessarily, the guy who drowns out another candidate in commercials hourly day after day wouldn't be allowed to do that anymore. Equal air time

Stryder50 , what's your solution?
I haven't encountered any that would be better than what we have with our Constitution, which isn't taught much in our education system it seems.
With only half who can vote doing such in most elections, and about half of those who do mostly voting for either/or of the major two party's candidate, would seem we get in office what about a quarter of the citizens voted for.
Any system humans create is likely to be less than perfect.

So, just for jollies, this;
Candidates wanting to run for and get elected, would first have to get a passing score on a battery of tests similar to what one does when applying for a government service job, only more extensive. Think ASVAP plus.
Then all those who pass, qualify, get their name "put into a hat" and who ever is draw is the one "elected".

how about strip away all gerrymandering districts and put those districts back to normal?

How would you define "normal" ???
everyone votes for candidates on a ballot and the candidate's with the most votes win the seats, it isn't difficult. takes away fraud and anyone can win.

That's what we have now, except you fail to prove how it removes fraud. Nor define what you mean by "fraud".
How is this not gerrymandering ?

Stryder50 , what is your solution, let politicians rig districts? hilarious.

I would use Ai to define voting districts
still an issue with that. there shouldn't be districts. Candidates represent the state, not the district, how can one district matter more than another so as to remove representation?
