Here is a partial list of grievances in the Declaration of Independence and their modern equivalent

Legislative and Political Tyranny

Then: Dissolving Representative Houses, Refusing Laws, Suspension of Local Government, Unusual Meeting Places

Now: Our Congress is controlled by a foreign lobby and 95% of the Members have put themselves on a commission basis. They enrich themselves and their friends and foreign allies at our expense.

Economic and Military Oppression

Then: Taxation Without Consent, Quartering Troops, Cutting Off Trade, Mercenaries

Now: Our government conspires with Food and Pharma, Defense Contractors and Elites and foreign nations to keep us sick and medicated, siphons off our wealth through Unconstitutional interest payments, undeclared foreign wars and taxation on personal income; every conceivable human activity is now subject to law or regulations, and subject to surveillance worse than if the British stationed themselves in Post Offices and opened and read every letter
