How do you know things were created? Why couldn't things have existed for eternity?

The problem here is that you're in a humancentric view. We see that life is created. We see that rocks and planets and things are created.

What we don't see is that it isn't "creation". It's CHANGE.

The energy exists. It just changes.

When a human is conceived it takes energy in different forms, first from the egg and the sperm, then from the sentience that the mother eats, and it becomes something else.

The atoms don't change maybe. The energy doesn't change maybe. They just combine, and this causes change.

You eat food, it's these atoms in this configuration. Then the configuration changes because they react with other configurations.

It's like Legos. You have a house, pull it apart and now you have dinosaur. The blocks are still the same, the configuration they're in changes.

That's how you get life, configurations changing very, very quickly.

Non-life is much slower. Unless it's a volcano or planets smashing into each other.

Matt 5:5--Blessed are the meek for they will inherit the Earth=The great crowd of Rev 7:9)--So not all are going to heaven as the blind guides teach--Psalm 37:11,29 assures that as well. Prov 2:21-22 assures they are not leaving the Earth.

God the Father called Jesus to represent the godhead on this earth. Jesus is Jehovah of the Old Testament. Jesus is the creator as verse 3 above states.

Genesis 1:26-27
26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

In verse 26, God the father is speaking to another member of the godhead, Jesus Christ, and that is why there is "us" and "our". Verse 27 tells us that man was created in the image of God both male and female. Contrasting these verses with John 1:1-3,14 above we see that it truly was God the Father and Jesus in the beginning and that it was through Jesus Christ that the Father had all things created that were made. Jesus is Jehovah of the Old Testament.

Nothing that humans have ever done/produced is considered a creation because they had to use preexisting material that Jehovah God created.

The meaning of "creation" in its truest definition involves making something from scratch. Humans have never done that. They always have to use something that's preexisting.
