You're mentally deranged, gramps. The CDC never said only 6% died of covid, they said 6% of those who died of covid, had only covid listed on their death certificate. Death certificates include an immediate cause, intermediate causes, underlying causes, and contributing conditions. Meaning they died because of covid but had comorbidities. You know, the word you don't know how to spell.

For example, someone who died from covid might have acute respiratory distress syndrome as the immediate cause of death, pneumonia listed as the intermediate cause of death and the underlying cause of death would be COVID-19, which is "the condition that leads, via intermediate causes, to the immediate cause of death." Contributing factors could include asthma or any other illness or condition that could've made the condition that was the original cause of death worse than it might've normally been.
