UT Austin professor says White men are the cause of all bad things
A celebrated psychology lecturer at The University of Texas at Austin reportedly gave her students a quiz that said "wealthy white men" were the most common demographic to "repeatedly violate the rights of others," and as a result, are most likely to become psychopaths.
"Antisocial Personality Disorder is a racist diagnosis in the way that it has been applied. It is also a sexist diagnosis, although to a much lesser extent," Dr. Kirsten Bradbury's quiz, given to her Personality Psych course, reads.
"Neither race nor gender is determinative in Antisocial Personality Disorder," the quiz continues. "However, if we must go there, which sociodemographic group is most likely to repeatedly violate the rights of others in a pattern of behavior that includes violence, deceit, irresponsibility, and a lack of remorse? (Hint: They also happen to hold the most social power and because of that can get away with the most wrongdoing.)"
The correct answer, as first reported by The Washington Free Beacon, was "wealthy white men." Other answers included "middle-class Latino families," "Asian men of all economic groups" and "female dentists."
Professor backtracks claim that 'wealthy white men' are prone to 'violate rights of others,' report says
Female dentists? Who knew?
And there you go, proof that education and degrees do not automatically equate to intelligence and ability to think critically.
