White House inadvertently texted top-secret Yemen war plans to journalist

Why would he lie and put himself in jeopardy? He realizes, as you should, that since he was handed the info and did not distribute it ahead of time, that’s not espionage. The only reason for secrecy now is to cover up the Trump team’s incompetence.
For the same reason he told all his other lies: to damage Trump.

Theres no defending this. Let's investigate and move on.

but the administration shouldn't have invited him, let alone be sending shit out over the airwaves
these types of meetings should be held in a room with a guard posted out front.
I'm the biggest con on this forum, but someone needs to be fired.
Hegsteth sez how incompetant this reporter is, Then WHY IN THE HELL WAS HE INVITED?
True, inviting him was a **** up. That doesn't excuse him lying about there being classified information in the thread. It also doesn't excuse him going public with it.

I would like to agree with you but I cant

Using an insecure platform not approved for official conversations was a dumb thing to do
From what they testified today, they were talking on an approved platform that was secured.
You had to have a password to get into the discussion, and you had to have a clearance to get on Signal.

The journalist says he somehow got into the discussion and dreamed up this story weeks after the event took place.

Theres no defending this. Let's investigate and move on.
Bull shit. You don't know what you're talking about.
Eventually this story will be investigated and months from now we will be told that this Trump hating journalist made the whole thing up.
Goldberg made up what was discussed.
This will come out.

In all fairness it's an Atlantic reporter making the claim. It's not like The Atlantic doesn't go far far left
So, why isn't the serial orange litigator SUING?

3 hours ago — National security advisor Mike Waltz has no plans to resign after The Atlantic's reporting of Signal security breach.

Oh' darn.

True, inviting him was a **** up. That doesn't excuse him lying about there being classified information in the thread. It also doesn't excuse him going public with it.
It would have been a crime if he had gone public before the operation.
Now all he's doing is trying to create another scandal.

Mike Waltz, mistakenly invited him into a chat on the app Signal that included 18 administration officials including Vice President JD Vance, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, CIA Director John Ratcliffe and Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard.

Why was a reporter included in the chat?

It is unclear why Goldberg, a longtime Washington-based reporter and editor-in-chief of The Atlantic, was added to the chat of Trump officials.

Goldberg said he received a connection request from a Signal user with name Mike Waltz on March 13. Two days later, he was added to a chat called “Houthi PC small group.”

If Walz personally added the hostile lib reporter to the chat it was a huge mistake and could cost him his job

But that has not been confirmed

This is the same level of melodrama that will get you a score of no better than another 2 / 10

Keep trying. Maybe you can appeal to a DIE allowance for a better score.
Keep it coming.

Is there evidence that Pete was drunk when he opened his cakehole to the world?

It's quite possible that Trump chose him purposely, knowing that he could trade secrets with Putin and then take the blowback from the US military personally.
Certainly possible, if not likely.

Lol, then Biden should be hung for lax security on the border. Anyway there was no classified information talked about and it did nothing to prevent the successful mission that was accomplished.
Discussing the details of an attack that will happen in two hours is not classified?
