That is what the entire global media is about nowadays - and everyone according to his own perception is buying into one or more of these "alternatives". TACO knows this very well - he instrumented this distrust towards the "reputable" media and is making utmost use of it.

See his first speech, emphasizing the need for a "secure" ballroom. And loads of MAGA's dolts referencing him to that point. Whilst others buy into an Israel conspiracy, or whatever. And in Europe the anti-Israel faction is gaining the upper hand at present, not amongst the governments but the respective population. Since the latter are the ones who get hit financially by this TACO quest for oil.

And in the USA all of this is happening simply due to the fact - that even Congress on both sides isn't questioning nor acting accordingly onto his factual crimes. So every-time the LAW fails - conspiracy theories come in, and in the meantime the criminal is free to continue his path whilst having assured "via the media" that his factual imminent transgressions are being brushed aside.

Obviously works damn well across the globe.

That's always been my understanding.
There are exceptions such as the State of the Union.
But overall it's not a good idea.
