Trump has repeatedly stated that he had to have Greenland, however we have to take it. He has stated that he also wants Canada as part of the US. And he has stated that he has control of Venezuela and that is how it is going to stay. The first thing every two bit authoritarian in the world does as soon as they think that have enough power and political control to do it, is try to establish empires. Trump is senile and demented enough he does not realize that he does not have that kind of political control here in the US. Trump is bombing a nation that has allies already sending war materials to it. And he did so without consulting Congress as the law requires. The people that they are taking out deserve to be taken out, but what are the consequences going to be for that region, and for us? And maybe Trump's next target will not be someone that needs to be removed, say like Greenland.

Per article II the President can conduct limited military operations without waiting for Congress. Also a President can deploy troops without waiting for Congress.
