The question is a no brainer because we are already on the brink of WWIII. Another US Civil War? That's a hard one because there are no clear boundaries. It's not a simple case of the North fighting the South. It would be more of a case of neighbors fighting neighbors. There really isn't such a thing as red states and blue states. The red states are mostly red but the blue states are actually mostly red themselves, accept for the large cities. It would have to be some sort of a war of the big blue cities fighting off everyone else. Even at that, many of the blue cities are actually like a 65/35 split. If the reds actually squared off against the blues, it wouldn't be a very fair fight because the reds would have many advantages. The blue team's only hope would be in using the armed services to intervene and that would be by no means a sure thing because there would be many in the armed services who would favor the red team.
