Where will conservative white Christians come down on the battle between Trump and Pence.
Trump can see that Pence is being painted as the hero in stopping Trump from stealing the election by many Republicans and Independents.
Trump came out with both barrels firing, against Pence, this weekend, at a Christian conference. The reaction was tepid at best.
Pence is a long time proven conservative white Christian.
Trump is Trump.

Even bad pennies have two sides. Flip the coin. Heads we mourn, tails we scorn. Somebody please give Bobby Jindal a call.

Trump got Roe v. Wade overturned. If Christians truly believe that abortion is murder and that many of the ills of the United States in the last three decades case about due to God's wrath over our massacre of the unborn, how could they not vote for Trump?

You know . . . since he got Roe v. Wade overturned?

You hate both of them because you were told to.

Roe hasn't been overturned yet although fingers are crossed coast to coast it will soon die. The hill to die on, for Trump and Pence, was the hill where they fought tooth and nail to ensure a fair election in 2020. Both of them failed and here we are all suffering. Neither man is the future. Unless the future be bleak and damp and more of the same old same old. We need new blood in the conservative crusade.

You are being a cowardly faggot, Dave. It's obvious Pence and Trump don't like each other, and any attempt to spin it otherwise is you being a homo.

Do you agree with Pence or Trump, you leg humping dog?

Few people are enamored with Trump outside the 25% that are NASCAR fans (etc.). The fact is, however, with that 25% in his back pocket the other dozen excellent potential Republican candidates will beat each other up while Trump strolls to the nomination. Just like in 2016. The Buckley Rule (paraphrased from memory) is that one must vote for the Conservative who has the best chance of winning the General Election.

In a perfect world there are scores of Republicans whom I would vote for if Trump were out of the picture. But NONE of them can beat any jag-off that runs on the D side. As demonstrated in 2020, when the Democrats nominated an empty suit and still won.

Trump is our only hope. Pence is cool. DeSantis is cool. Cruz is cool. But none of them can win.

Trump was good for Christians. Biden is a tool of demonic agendas.

Are you saying Trump has the least chance of not winning, regardless of voters hating him?

The Republican right has given up on the christian god. Trump is their new godlet. Watch them fall in line con-demning Pence.

Conservatives?

They'll side with Pence.

Autocrat-Enablers who are fond of faux strong-men?

They'll side with Rump.

I've been thinking the same myself. Started a thread about it a couple of weeks ago, but what is to be said but "it hasn't happened yet," over and over? I'm concerned that the justices may be looking for a way to uphold the law in question without completely overturning Roe.

We'll see in the 2024 primaries who the rest of the GOP prefers.
I'm thinking neither Trump nor Pence.
Looks like Desantis can be the nominee we all agree on.
If not him, Nikki Haley, Jim Jordan, Mike Pompeo, or Dan Crenshaw look viable, especially considering who the democrats have.
