Every. Single. MFin. CON in office and in the media has been saying that IF you get rid of the bush Tax Kut$ jobs will disappear. The dumb CON$ kuntinue to parrot their RW prayer of the rich give jobs. Yet, they Tax Cuts have been in place for the better part of the last decade and jobs have only been rapidly leaving the kuntree and been on the decline.
Now that you raise that fact all of a sudden you have dumb RW hack CON$ talking about "it's not just the bush Tax Kut$, it's the environment, the Dem Congress, yada, yada, yada." Yet...their RW CON Leaders KUNTinue to parrot their insepid RW prayers about the bush Tax Kut$ being the end-all and be-all.
Buncha IDJITS!!!
Not exactly dealing with rocket science here, Marc. You take more money from people they have less money to pay others for work. IE there are less jobs. Unless you expect people to pay for work with money they don't have.
If you take money away from people and then artificially raise production cost through government regulation and such things like a minimum wage, it becomes more expensive to do certain work. Which means those who want that work done will not be able to afford to hire as many people as they might otherwise do with the money they have.
You tell us we are idiots just for looking at nature and telling you exactly what will happen. Yet when we tell you something, we have a record of being correct. You past minimum wage. Labor costs went up. Which drove unemployment up.
We told you Obamacare would increase the number of uninsured. Lo and behold it increases the number of uninsured.
We told you if you keep increasing labor costs and taxing people and companies that have the financial means of moving elsewhere where there is no burden, they are going to move elsewhere where they don't have to deal with the regulations and costs.
It's natural economic law. It's been consistant for thousands of years. Simply passing legislation isn't going to change nature. Try as you might, you can't change it by an act of Congress.
If you want to do something to bring the companies back to the United States. Cut taxes. Abolish the Federal minimum wage (The states can do as they choose), Cut the red tape and bueaucracy and free up innovators.
That's how you create a job friendly environment. It isnt done by handing out money to special interests who got your guys elected.
You can call us stupid or idiots all you like. It isn't going to change the natural law of economics. And it isn't going to make up for the fact that you have no idea how to create wealth, nor any plan to encourage the jobs to come back.
But then, I get the feeling you don't really care about the jobs or the unemployed. You just want the issue so you can control people who make decisions based on emotions rather than facts.
