When was the last time you changed your mind about something politically important and admitted it?

What do we do with where we are now? Do we collapse into hatred and bitterness, or do we try to build something functional from the mess we’ve inherited?
We immediately unwind every single policy and provision that caused/causes any level of regression, degradation and or societal decay…We hunt down every single illegal alien and send them back to their shitholes. We destroy any and all forms of leftism within our institutions. We encourage people to seek God again.
Most importantly, we ALWAYS reject ANYTHING that is pitched by the left

I've come to terms with change because I know we can't stop it. It's here; it's happening, and it always has been. No two generations look the same. The world changes. We don’t have to like the direction of the world, but we should recognize that it's always moving. Trying to freeze time or drag it back doesn’t work. It never has.
I hope we aren’t talking about two or three different things…When you say ā€œchangeā€ are you talking about economical and technological change or are we talking about social/societal change? If feels like you may be trying to conflate the three to cause a little ambiguity.
I’ve been speaking of societal change.

I’ve been speaking of societal change.
All of it changes. It's all in motion.

Is it our responsibility to do all we can to prevent negative change?
Since core Americans have been ā€˜changing’ to accommodate unconventionals and since we can clearly connect the dots and see that such change has society in a steep decline wouldn’t it make more sense to force lefties to conform which is really just change repackaged?
dblack your thoughts?

Trying to force people to conform has oftentimes not worked too well historically I think.

I will be real with you about something.

If you can't tell, my posts are losing effort. I went pretty heavy for a while and I'm starting to get burned out. Maybe I was trying to have too many debates in too many threads all at once.

I am tired of having the conversation but I don't want to disrespect it or you either, so I'm letting you know I need to recharge a little. That articulation, as you called it, takes a lot of energy and effort.

Though, I would appreciate your input on my list of positives about Trump. Can you sense my sincerity? What blue hair nose-ringed activist would say that?

That's the only way to earn credibility? Fine.

1.) Trump threatens the status quo. It wasn't just Democrats that hated him when he crashed onto the scene. It was also established Republicans trying to stop him. He disrupts their fog and indecisiveness by finally being somebody that says and tries to do the things conservatives have been saying for years.

Agreed.
2.) He's sincere. He means what he says and it's obvious. It's really hard to fake that, and even if some people can't name it, I think they feel it in their hearts when he speaks. That's why he's magnetic to people. That's why the crowds were so big. People were feeling his sincerity and resonating with itdeeply.

Agreed.

3.) He's unconventional and isn't afraid to take risks. Not everybody likes those qualities, but I do. We're stuck in a partisan swamp. Unconventional risk taking might be just the thing that somehow drags us out of that, or at least opens a door.

Agreed.

4.) He has balls. He stood up straight when an unknown person had just tried to kill him with a rifle. He sat on Joe Rogan for three hours and had an unscripted conversation. He left himself wide open for examination and Joe did just that. That shows an incredible confidence in his own sincerity and methods. To me, that proves he's genuine even when it's risky. That's a rare and honorable quality.

The two best examples to prove the point.

5.) He's willing to change his mind upon absorbing new information. This is a big one for me. Some would call that indecisiveness, but I call it adaptability if it's done with genuine intent, and with Trump, I think it is.

Agreed.

Well done. Kudos.
