I've been watching what is going on in Belfast....
I'm not a fan of the IRA, Catholics, Protestants or the Nationalists or Unionists....I just like the people.

But then I see the threads on this forum. The obvious Democrats with their obnoxious over the top false accusations....I dont want to even engage with them anymore. The chances of having a real discussion of ideas? Zero. They just want to throw stupid empty rhetoric as if that's going to convince everyone of anything....they have zero concept of how to discuss ideas, solutions, or unintended consequences with anyone....they are just in a team sport.

But I definitely do understand the Irish's frustration with their Government.....
We have had the exact same frustration with ours.



Our votes are meaningless exercises anymore.
The candidates say one thing but then do another....the exact thing we were voting against to begin with.

Now we have this joke of an election in California....so obviously overwhelmingly phoney that we wonder why even bother anymore.

In Georgia....the candidates say that one is Republican and the other Democrat....but in truth they are both Democrats because a true conservative will never make it to a primary....

Why bother?
Why trouble yourself?
Is the ONLY solution left the same as Belfast across the entire nation until we get the integrity restored?

Almost....and that's where the Left and Right absolutely have ridiculous feelings about Trump.
Right, wrong, or indifferent, he keeps his word like no one in recent memory. Goes to extreme lengths to pull off what he said he was going to do. That's it.....that's the whole nut if appeal to MAGA....
Trump maybe using a chainsaw in areas a scalpel would be better suited....but at this point? Nobody cares. The people are getting exactly what they voted for.

When people get tired of being tired....Belfast happens....just saying....it can just as easily happen in the USA by the Right....and if it does its gonna be ugly, brutal and insanely efficient.

They certainly have had a huge influence on what politicians do....both in office and after office. Those blind trusts that seem to benefit Politicians sure do come in handy after the election. They also have huge amounts of dark money and black money in outside Of American banks....(Mexico and Canada) Dark money is just foreign political activists looking to control American politics....black money is criminal foreign interests (terrorists, drug runners, sex trade) trying to control American politics.

Then there's the Corporate PACs....
The 9 largest mutual fund holders hold 80% of the entire stock market and ALL news outlets. They also want to have a say in what goes on with the SEC, FTC and all Banking Regulations.

So much to the point that an average citizen's vote is meaningless.

How can an average 8-4 working schmuck get a voice in this world about how his kids should not be indoctrinated into thinking sex is their personal life goal and their parents are uneducated and oppressive dolts?

Meanwhile the gubbermint needs more taxes and the muslim immigrants(new to the neighborhood) are angry all the time hollering about something (dunno they only speak Arabic)
And you are personally concerned that you might lose your job next month or year....

We don't need to burn anything down. We need to fix a system that motivates and rewards the worst impulses of its participants.

We need to reduce the influence of cash. We need to deny these people decades of opportunities to build impenetrable power bases. We need to have a voting system that is not imbalanced. We need to re-direct the priorities of "public servants" (ha) to the people, not the politicians' long term careers.

So, for example:

• Short, strict term limits
• Publicly-funded elections
• Bipartisan redistricting committees
• Full lobbyist reform
• Ranked choice voting

Or maybe something else. Maybe we can come up with other ideas. But if we're serious, we grow up and work together to fix this mess. Those who only want division and carnage can take up other hobbies. Otherwise we won't have a chance to burn ANYTHING down. It will happen by itself, and it will be ugly.

These restrictions upon our government to infringe upon these rights applies only for Citizens....not foreigners and not "entities". It is solely for groups of citizens....peoples. church groups, old lady quilting clubs, gardeners, farmers, veterans and etc.
