WHEN Sephardic Jews were permitted to return to Spain?

Ashkenazi jews and Sephardic jews have the same origin---
and the same religion. They differ by the geography of
their wonderings which led to minor differences in WORD
pronunciation in hebrew-----and recipes acquired over the
Millennia. The question would be something like asking---
'are Irish catholics related to Italian catholics' ? <<< those
two groups are far less 'related' than are Ashkenazi jews and
Sephardic jews------btw---you left out MIZRAHI Jews. I am
not sure where to put Ethiopian Jews or the Jews of Southeast
ASIA. My own remote family background is mostly European----hubby likes DILL and calls it "that ashkenazi herb" In the town of my childhood (USA) the Irish catholics called the
Italian catholics "WOPS"----sometimes "greasers"

Probably a matter of the route of least resistance ? I doubt that FRANCO had much to do with it

Spain is very far away from Turkey, I am not an expert of this subject, still , i see 2 points here 1) They speak the same language , same food culture, etc. Franco and his falangists just could not say No to Sephardic Jews in 40s 2) FRANCO industrialized Spain very rapidly in 40s, and he knew that Sephardic Jews knew the drill.
