When Is Pelosi Going to Impeach Trump?

As it stands the partisan impeachment vote (and bi-partisan opposition to impeach) is merely an asterisk in the history books showing Democrats failed to follow through in the process and Trump was never impeached as required by the Constitution.

This Congress ends a year from now, which means the vote becomes meaningless. Democrats will not take back the Senate, best they can do is 50-50 with Pence casting the deciding vote.

And don’t give us the fair trial in the Senate BS. Pelosi already admitting they’ve been trying to impeach Trump for three years and this impeachment is about something that occurred a few months ago shows what a sham witch hunt this is.

Please quote the section of the Constitution that requires further action.
Impeachment is a two step process according to the Constitution. A vote (partisan no less) is just an asterisk in the books.

Again, give us the section of the Constitution that supports this claim
It’s a meaningless vote without it going to the Senate. Less meaningful than their vote to make today Red Robin Appreciation Day.
I love how the CRC trumpanzees fall right in line behind their orange "chosen one" when it comes to talking points.

I love how the CRC trumpanzees fall right in line behind their orange "chosen one" when it comes to talking points.
And I love how the chimpanzees fall in line behind their masters.

Speak to the fact that the Constitution says Trump isn't impeached yet. If you dare.

US Constitution:
Article 1
Section 3:

"The Senate shall have the sole Power to try all Impeachments."

Constitute

Notice the word "all".

If the Senate doesn't have the power to try Trump, then he isn't impeached.

Checkmate.

It does not say that...that is just your spin on the words

When the Senate doesn't exist.

Patience is a virtue!

She can't turn them over, while congress is on break, in recess.... the law does not permit her to send the impeachment over to the Senate, until they return from .break.
She is in violation if House rules that require her to send them to the Senate inmediately.

It's really pretty simple. Look it up yourself.

It says the Senate has the SOLE authority to try ALL impeachments. Since the Senate does not have the authority to try Trump, he's not impeached.

Don't feel too bad. I didn't know it either, until Nadler's hand picked Constitutional Impeachment authority pointed it out.

Never mind.. If you don't understand it now after I've linked it, quoted it, and explained it to you, go ahead and feel bad.

Smart people make mistakes. Stupid people keep digging.

She Already did and yes it was.
I stand corrected. You were right. I was wrong. (See how easy that was?)

I said if Pelosi "decides" to Impeach Trump. She has already admitted she decided to impeach Trump 2-1/2 years ago.

I should have said if Pelosi "actually does" impeach Trump.

Which is why you are still digging. He is impeached, nothing you can say will change that. Get over it.

Also, Clinton was impeached on Dec 19th and the trial did not start for 18 days.

He is impeached. None of your whining will change that. Move on. Enjoy your Christmas, it will be ok

When Is Pelosi Going to Impeach Trump?
When they make plans for an actual trial.

That's not her call. She can hold the articles back if she wants to, but she doesn't get to dictate how the Senate does its business, and even democrat Senators should oppose her naked power grab. Notice that they're cowering in the shadows right now.
Why? They want a real trial too.
Why indeed are they saying nothing about Pelosi trying to dictate the outcome and control Senate procedures? Instead, they're cowering in the shadows, afraid to say boo. I think it's because they know they will be stuck in session 6 days a week during campaign season if they make too much trouble. Poor dears.
