When is an embryo/fetus a human life?

What mindless mass of cells is a person according to science.. Please respond with citations.

I don’t demand that everyone reject the foundations of biology basically because I don’t know what the hell you are talking about. Sounds like some kind of white Christian grievance thing that Republicans do.
You must have gone to public school.

Where do you learn this nonsense? Is this ignorance what schools are churning out? I am appalled at the level of scientific ignorance.
You can deny it if your dogma so dictates, but a microscopic, mindless mass of cells is not a person.

A homunculus is a small human being. Popularized in 16th-century alchemy and 19th-century fiction, it has historically referred to the creation of a miniature, fully formed human. The concept has roots in preformationism as well as earlier folklore and alchemic traditions.

A fertilized egg or Blastocyst, begins life as a unique strand of Human DNA. We all started out that way but remember a significant number of blastocysts do not attach to the womb and do not develop into a baby.

Which has nothing to do with the species of an unborn human, being. The artificial creation of a miniature human being is puppetry.

Is the concept of killing another human so abhorrent that you need to create a fiction to make the act acceptable? Why not just realize it's killing an independent person and move on. You're okay with it. My body my choice. It's him or me. ME!

A heartbeat can be detected as early as 4 weeks
Cardiac activity is not a heartbeat.

"But according to experts, the term “fetal heartbeat” is misleading and medically inaccurate.

“While the heart does begin to develop at around six weeks, at this point the heart as we know it does not yet exist,” said Dr. Ian Fraser Golding, a pediatric and fetal cardiologist at Rady Children’s Hospital San Diego.

Instead, at six weeks, the embryo will develop a tube that generates sporadic electrical impulses that eventually coordinate into rhythmic pulses, he said. "

It's not. No brain, no consciousness, no human life. That's my argument. Pretty simple.

Why exactly? Conception is not a public phenomenon. It takes place inside a developed human being‘s body. That human being has a right to privacy. Does she not? If a woman finds out, she has conceived and decides she does not want to give birth, what effect does that have on the public or specifically, your rights and your life and your well-being and pursuit of happiness?
If a plantation owner beats his slave, what effect does that have on the public or specifically, your rights and your life and your well-being and pursuit of happiness?

Stupid argument.

Not true, but for simple minds, it's what they need. What species is a fetus? Or do they develop into species after birth?

They develop into something which possesses a human consciousness. At conception, there is no human consciousness, so the species doesn't matter.

Where do you learn this claptrap? Is this in school, did you think of it all yourself or were you told?

I went to enough public schools to be able to ask you a question that I’m pretty sure you have no ability or insight with which to answer.

What mindless mass of cells is a person according to science.. Please respond with citations

You made a claim now back it up with the basis of your claim. Shit, I probably learned how to answer a question truthfully in the third or fourth grade in a public school. Where did you go?

first off. A slave was a born human being living outside of a woman’s body with equal rights and if he’s on US soil, he has the same due process as all other human beings before being deprived of liberty or having violence committed against his person

First of all American Society has made ownership of slaves illegal. So society has the right to punish those who break the

On the other hand, the American Society has decided that safe and legal abortion is not a violation of law.

There is no comparison between the two situations not even a remotely, not even slightly

Sadly for far too many of the pro life side, they are willing to indeed overlook the bad things upon birth.

To me far too many are simply pro birth.

What’s so hard to explain? The bottom line here is you don’t seem to value human life in the womb…And that’s something you’ll have to answer for, not me…
Abortion is necessary medical procedure and like any must have standards. Trying to ban all abortions is just plain stupid and will never happen. It has nothing to do with virtue signaling some distorted moral values. The nation wants it

At the point when a pregnancy biologically qualifies as a human life with a functioning brain, then I'd argue that it deserves legal rights. Just as how black people were granted legal rights because they biologically qualify as a human.

It's beside the point. You can't take another person's life simply because you believe the circumstances of their birth are bad.

Ok, how about this…Ban all abortions of convenience?

That’d take care of 95% of them.

As noted, for good or bad it's never going to happen.

Sadly many dismiss things we could do to lessen abortions.
