When do ICE agents start getting charged with false arrest and excessive use of force?

Prosecutors with the Department of Homeland Security have surprised a number of migrants by dismissing their cases when they appear in court, a legal tactic that opens the door for ICE agents to arrest them in the hallways once they leave and place them in expedited deportation proceedings without hearings.
https://www.nytimes.com/2025/06/17/nyregion/brad-lander-immigration-ice.html

IOW, the regime is using court appearances to enable ICE to make arrests without warrants and or allowing hearings for the immigrants in question.
So? The case you went for was dismissed, we no longer have to deal with whatever that crime you are charged with, case closed. The new case is your illegal presence in the US and will take priority. Good bye, we’re done with you and you’re out of here.

I find this to be preferable. I don’t want to waste tax payer money on some illegal to go to trial and then jail for some low level crime when we can just hit them with immediate deportation.

What exactly do you want me to be upset about here.

Yup. It sure can.

Many moons ago, I visited the Alamo - in Texas. The tour guide went over the history of the region and why the Alamo was such an important battle. I'll summarize:

After Mexico won its independence from Spain, they found themselves the proud owners of the territory of Texas. But it was sparsely populated and in need of people to establish a civilized presence. So they created programs to entice US residents, hungry for opportunity, to settle the region. They offered free land, and even cash incentives, for foreigners willing to tame the land and, eventually, pay taxes.

After twenty years or so, conservatives in Mexico City won leadership of the government. And they weren't as enthused about foreigners populating "their" land. The newbs weren't speaking Spanish and the Mexican government worried that they would water down the culture. So they cancelled the induced immigration policies, and began passing laws to close the border and crack down on US immigration.

But when you have opportunity on one side of a border, and hungry people on the other, the border tends to get ignored. Americans continued to flood the region and the Mexican government decided to take a hard line. Thus the Alamo. That turned out to be a pretty bad idea.
It was a really bad decision and resulted in the Mexican American war. Which ended with the Treaty of Guadalupe that actually gave land back to Mexico that we had taken and established the current border. Along with that 15 million dollars for them to have along with giving them back everything south of the Rio Grande.

So if Mexico would like a redo on that entire situation we can go ahead and send the military down and reclaim Mexico all the way down to Mexico City.

I guess maybe the point was too subtle.

That is the best thing...I've heard from the government since Eric Holder resigned in disgrace !

Nov 20, 2024 — When Geo Group used a separate subsidiary -- GEO Corrections Holdings, Inc -- to contribute money to a pro-Trump super PAC in 2016.

The donations from Geo Group were far from the largest corporate contribution to Trump's war chest -- but few industries are set to benefit from the incoming Trump administration as significantly as private prisons, which are expecting a surge in business driven by Trump's plan to deport millions of undocumented immigrants.

During a recent corporate earnings call, Geo Group CEO Brian Evans estimated that his company could make as much as $400 million annually by filling empty or underutilized beds at existing detention facilities to support what he called the "future needs for ICE and the federal government," referring to the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency.

L.A. County family says immigration agents detained son who is a U.S. citizen

Hundreds in a Los Angeles County neighborhood took to the streets to protest after immigration agents detained a 20-year-old outside a Pico Rivera Walmart on Tuesday.

The young man who was wrestled to the ground, Adrian Andrew Martinez, is a U.S. citizen, according to his family.

A video of the incident shows Martinez, in a blue Walmart vest, appearing to talk to the Customs and Border Patrol agents before one of them pushed him back. In the middle of the exchange, the man who was recording, Oscar Preciado, had his phone knocked out of his hand.

After picking it up to start recording again, Preciado captured the federal agents wrestling Martinez to the ground. Preciado said the agents tried to grab him, too.

‘I’m an American, Bro!’: Latinos Report Raids in Which U.S. Citizenship Is Questioned

A raid in Montebello, Calif., has stirred fears that federal agents are detaining and racially profiling U.S. citizens of Hispanic descent.

They swept into the Southern California car lot last Thursday at 4:32 p.m. — masked and armed Border Patrol agents in an unmarked white S.U.V.

One agent soon twisted Jason Brian Gavidia’s arm and pressed him against a black metal fence outside the lot where he runs an auto body shop in Montebello, a working-class suburb east of the Los Angeles city limits. Another officer then asked him an unusual question to prove whether he was a U.S. citizen or an undocumented immigrant.

“What hospital were you born at?” the Border Patrol agent asked.

Mr. Gavidia, 29, was born only a short drive from where they were standing, in East Los Angeles. He did not know the hospital’s name. “I was born here,” he shouted at the agent, adding, “I’m an American, bro!”

What's happening here is the regime is trying to normalize armed, masked, federal officers engaging in racial profiling. Which is illegal in these United States of America.

ICE is following the script by claiming one of the US citizens they wrestled to the ground during a false arrest, after first pushing him to the ground, tried to hit an officer.

What ICE is doing under Dotard's instruction, like pulling over a car full of native Americans because they were mistaken for Mexicans, is an assault on everything America stands for.

Sweet!
They ignored our laws walking in so they should receive the BOOT, you absolute ninnies, care more about them than vets, and children living in the street, who are citizens. Absolute shame on you, not to mention the unnecessary burden on food banks, police, and medical facilities who have to care for them on our tax dollars.

In the first three seconds of your video it says why he was detained. Holy **** you’re stupid.

Good question.

ICE has been arresting legal immigrants and US citizens. Keystone Kops.

Trump's Gestapo are also ambushing refugees who are seeking asylum.

What kind of SS thug waits outside a courtroom where a refugees is doing everything right just to kidnap them and send them to Sudan, where they aren't even from?

This is some real Nazi shit.
This arrests are just another example how Trump, Noem, Rubio, & Homan are nothing but craven lying criminal bastards themselves. Every one of those fuckers have said that ICE was going to deport violent criminal immigrants. Well, that's not what they're doing. It's all a pack of lies to deport "brown skinned people" & to scare the bejeezus out of anyone who speaks out against their Nazi playbook, including college students.

After what Trump did on J6 no one should be shocked at what that s.o.b. does or the bottom feeding lackeys like Noem & Rubio who he surrounds himself with either. They're nothing but 2025's version of a Nazi.
