When did liking ones own country become xenophobia?

Take note Liberals. Wanting those who wish to immigrate to this country to follow the correct procedures is not xenophobic. Making sure immigrants are fully vetted is not xenophobic. Wanting immigrants to contribute to society instead of immediately receiving public assistance is not xenophobic. Caring more about the lives of US citizens is not xenophobic.
