Good answer.when did it become normal ?? ....April 12 1861 ..
Yes it does.No it doesn't.
It doesn't at all.
That's a lie.Blue states don't enforce laws they do not like. Two examples are immigration and drug laws.
After the SCOTUS gave gays the right to marry, they were happy when it became the "law of the land".
Can you imagine the outcry if some red states decided that they weren't gonna follow that ruling in their states?
All the red states did. Its easy to see which side is law abiding and which one is not.
No it isn't.Good answer.![]()
Must be that secret Amendment inserted by the Democrats that can only be read with a special light.I don't get how states and cities can just declare themselves SANCTUARIES FOR ILLEGAL ALIENS.
Where's THAT in the freaking CONSTITUTION???

As I have said before. State and local governments have no responsibility to enforce federal law. The SCOTUS case that makes this the law of the land stems from the assault weapons ban. Yep, way back when this sheriff in Montana said hell no, I will not enforce the assault weapons ban. And you know what, the SCOTUS said he didn't have to.I'm pretty sure it took off under the Obama regime.
I think we are on the verge of full-filling the 100 year plus communist dream of the downfall of America thanks to libs![]()
When Did It Become Normal for Half the Country to Disregard Federal Law?
Examining the widespread disregard for federal law by half the country and its impact on immigration and governance.pjmedia.com
If you do not like a law, you elect people to public office who can legislate a change. That is our chosen mechanism. It is what keeps up from destroying ourselves from civil wars and insurrections. But no, not the left. They now believe that taking to the street to force their views through bullying and violence is ok. In other words, the Dems' policy is "F*** the law!! We will install our own regime by FORCE!!" This is what is happening now. You cannot dispute it. It is not happening on each and every issue, but damn near close! It is a practice that Dems are trending toward.
This is not good for the sustainability of our republic. Back in the Founders' days, the anti-ICE insurrectionists, for example, would have been dispatched with extreme prejudice, as would be right and just. Protesters are free to protest. However, "protest" does not include interfering with valid and lawful immigration enforcement activity. "Protest" does not include violence upon police and other citizens. "Protest" does not include creating anarchy conditions. WE ALL KNOW THIS. SO WHY ARE WE ALLOWING IT TO HAPPEN.
You may pretend to shed a tear over sexual deviant Good, and weirdo Pretti, but I don't. Honestly, the only reason the left (and I include YOU leftist goofballs on this board) pretends to mourn is to sustain the narrative. Clearly, nobody on the left gives a crap about either one of them. Even here, it is plain to everybody that no Dem or leftist is all that broke up about these 2 dead morons. In fact, you can hardly contain your glee because you consider these deaths to be giving you some sort of high ground in this debate. Well, it does not. What is shows is a complete, 100% failure on the part of local law enforcement to protect its citizens by not keeping these lunatics (some with loaded guns) away from federal law enforcement, and a sick desire to sacrifice a couple of idiots for the "greater good" (i.e., the overthrow of the American republic). What a shameful spectacle! None of you deserve to be called "Americans".
When you leave the realm of peaceful protest, and get into forcible actions outside the scope of legislative means, especially when violence is involved, you have, in my opinion, forfeited your voice in politics. You have become a criminal. It is NOT because of the substance of what you are saying; it is because you are acting ultra vires and contra the U.S. Constitution and laws of the land. You deserve no empathy.
So, you got this next door neighbor. His name is federal government. He has this big ass Great Dane, named him ICE. Every damn morning Federal Government lets ICE in your yard so he can take a big ass shit. How long are you going to put up with that? Make no mistake, that is exactly what is happening when ICE goes into a particular area. Like a dog taking a shit, leaving locals to clean it up.Though my opportunities are limited, I ignore Federal law when the circumstance presents itself and am delighted that others do as well.
Dumbass. As I have said before. State and local governments have no responsibility to enforce federal law. The SCOTUS case that makes this the law of the land stems from the assault weapons ban. Yep, way back when this sheriff in Montana said hell no, I will not enforce the assault weapons ban. And you know what, the SCOTUS said he didn't have to.
When Did it Become Normal for Half the Country to Disregard Federal Law?
Nobody wants the state to affirmatively enforce federal law. That is a red herring. We want them to honor federal detainers and keep the locals policed while ICE and BPS are doing their jobs.As I have said before.
But that is the way this government is structured. Each state, even each county and small town, they are all experiments in government. I mean come on, has no one ever heard the term prosecutorial discretion? Or how about this, "all politics are local". What the hell happened.
I mean it has been going on a long time. State legislatures forbidding local governments from passing ordinances and bills. WTF? The federal government cramming federal policy down a local government's throat, mostly based on party affiliation. WTF? And the really big one, federalize elections?
What part of conservatism do you people not understand? Look, I get it. Local control has only compounded our problems. Hell, our schools are more segregated now than before the whole busing thing even started. But that is because the federal government has been asleep at the switch. But now, oh now they want to get all high and mighty, when attacking the weak.
Whats a lie?That's a lie.
may not compel the States to enact or administer a federal regulatory program. See, e.g., New York, supra, at 188. The attempts of the Government and the dissent to distinguish New York--on grounds that the Brady Act's background check provision does not require state legislative or executive officials to make policy; that requiring state officers to perform discrete, ministerial federal tasks does not diminish the state or federal officials' accountability; and that the Brady Act is addressed to individual CLEOs while the provisions invalidated in New York were directed to the State itself--are not persuasive. A "balancing" analysis is inappropriate here, since the whole object of the law is to direct the functioning of the state executive, and hence to compromise the structural framework of dual sovereignty; it is the very principle of separate state sovereignty that such a law offends. See e.g., New York, supra, at 187. Pp. 25-34.
They have an obligation to be involved in the policing of their citizens. As I have said before. State and local governments have no responsibility to enforce federal law. The SCOTUS case that makes this the law of the land stems from the assault weapons ban. Yep, way back when this sheriff in Montana said hell no, I will not enforce the assault weapons ban. See, dumbass - you were wrong....on grounds that the Brady Act's background check provision...
