They sit in their cubicles with their small list of tasks and worry about what it is going to take to get a promotion. How can they re-write their job description to make that possible? How can they figure out how to “supervise” other clerks who do as little as they?

They are a group of military and civilian personnel who are so engulfed in the political climate of pleasing the boss who ever he/she is that they lose track of their intended mission. They are there for a ticket punch and a glowing letter upon reassignment.
