An homage to the Sandman (Marvel Comics).

Leonardo's Vitruvian Man describes an aesthetics-ergonomics view of the symmetry of the sensibilities/sensitivities of the human physique. Georgia O'Keefe 'expanded' on this 'liberal' view of biology/evolution with characterizations of the 'flowery' of the female reproductive magic. From such imaginations, we've derived a sort of functionalism approach to characterizing the powder of life-logic! However, all's not well in paradise, as graphic extremes in the immersion of anarchy and eschewed forms/geometry yield us 'strange imagery' like Pinhead (Hellraiser), the Blob (Steve McQueen), and Gremlins (Joe Dante). We derive images and then extrapolate for horror-storytelling/comics and yield dystopian biology/evolution anarchy imagery like acid-blood aliens (Xenomorphs) and resurrected 'zombie-cops' (RoboCop). The human form has therefore seen various 'shifts' in depictions of realism...and danger.

What if we 'lose grip' on such realism-pillars? What if we're overcome by a form of 'emotional schizophrenia' drawing us towards more eschewed arrangements of complete biological/evolutionary unpredictability (e.g., Leviathan)? In such a scenario, we might arrive at a position in which we imagine chemical-warfare or biological weaponry as 'wholly compatible' with our sense of life-structure! We might think atrophy, sloth, holocaust, and deformity are perhaps forms or 'realities' of life under arrangements! This then begins our 'descent' into the madness of completely subverting or even dismissing or inverting organic science. Who'd be the mad scientists in such a world? Would they generate biological limb-enhancements for soldiers in the battlefield? Of course, we've seen all this in Orwellian literature.

Take, for example, the Sandman. He's a being composed entirely of sand! He was mutated/transformed during a chemical experiment accident in a barren test-field while trying to escape from prison, rendering his biochemical composition as entirely malleable and shape-shifting...the dude is made entirely of sand! The Sandman represents loss of control and reborn will of fury and change. This is the right 'avatar' for our hypothetical 'mad scientist world' in which we're dabbling into the forms of biological/evolutionary distancing! The Sandman is currently fleeing from the US military/government, intent on making him part of a new experiment/research program evaluating the flexibility of human DNA. Where will the Sandman flee? Whom will he love? What will he destroy? This is the question posed by the Bugle journalist, Peter Parker.
